Werewolves in Washington
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Daxton chuckled and nodded.* Yea they get us though our loved one. *He felt the pat from Joe and smiled at him.* I regret nothing, little dude. *Tinzen's words did nothing to sooth him, he knew that Aleriandria made it sound that they were good, he was still on his guard. He also ignored the skirt comment.* Knowing Mistress Aleriandria hers would be a lot nicer than the gym, besides with what it going on with the clan right now it maybe too risky there.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Marx huffed as they talked about going somewhere else before rolling his eyes. He was chopped liver and he knew it*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
I know how it works Tenzin and I wasn't allowed batteries, or anything else running through that sick little head of yours *Jac rolled her eyes at the demon then perked up, giving Daxton a smile* Best way to trap a wolf really, keeping someone they care about close *She sighed and stretched out, smirking at Tenzin again* You are so obsessed with clothes. If you spent half the time I do being furry you wouldn't worry so much about it plus lycans don't have much in the way of hang ups about bodies, ask Daxton. Shifting is hard with clothes on, they are constricting and hurt. Being naked is easier *She bumped Daxton then tilted her head at him, like a puppy might when hearing something interesting* Should we be worried? Are you okay? *As if she was in any position to offer any help*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
Clothes definitely do not hold up well when shifting. The moon so close it is good too keep some on standby. *Daxton could not help the struggle with loyalty when he talked about pack, but he was also a realist.* I would say for you, cautious and lay low. Your... status would be too tempting to the current pack leader. *Daxton hoped she would understand his meaning.* There was a fracturing in our pack. One side wants to just be left alone and the other just wants them destroyed. *He gave her a wiry smile at asking if he was okay. She was the first to ask him aside from maybe Tak and Lyall. He wasn't okay, but he would worry about that later.* I'll be alright. I appreciate you asking though.

Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Tinzen just rolled his eyes at Jac.* Apparently the hills had no eyes. *He muttered as Jac spoke of the restriction of clothes. *I did always love a free spirit. *he said to Daxton.* Just not one to encourage my child to follow suit. *Tinzen had gained some gossip of a warring wolf clan that Aleriandria has mentioned the next in line son was too good and would no doubt be crushed by clan leader should he play his cards wrong.* Well since you are on terms with Aleriandria, I believe you should join us. I am sure she would be happy to have you for a visit. *Tinzen said as he put an arm around Daxton's shoulders to guide him along.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Jac looked at Tinzen as Daxton agreed about clothes* See, clothes are a pain *She turned back to the conversation with Daxton, when he finished she gave him a look* That was your first lie. *She leaned back some, pulling her more serious self to the front* I can't offer much help, I wish I could but I am sorry that its happening. Having a pack going through something like this is heart wrenching *She spoke from experience and it showed in the melancholy of her words. She glanced back at Marx who was watching the restaurants they were passing with more and more interest* I appreciate your honesty about staying out of sight. I'll do my best to stay out of the fray *She smiled softly again, looking like the Luna of the Pack. He might even remember her all dressed up in handmade white robes from when he was very young, she had been striking then but she was much more real now. She broke it as she smiled at Tinzen* Stealing another wolf Tinzen?
Re: Werewolves in Washington
You have me there, Jac. *He said when she called him out for not being alright.* Don't be sorry, you didn't cause any of this, I would just not want you or Marx caught up in it. *As Tinzen put his arm on his shoulders, Daxton was not convinced about going to the mistress and he did remember there was a search for food.* We should actually get food first. I think Marx would greatly appreciate it. There is a good deli near by or there is a Chinese restaurant close too.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
Hey, if you aren't taking him. I'll keep him. *Tinzen called over his shoulder.* Just got Marx back to health we don't need him wasting away.* Where we going Jac, pick the place.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Marx blinked and looked back at everyone. He patted himself down and looked at the baby* Holy shit I am still part of this *He gave Tenzin and Daxton a cheeky grin, still careful not to look into Daxton's eyes* I really am hungry guys. I burn through food so much faster the week coming up to the moon and all the travel. *He groaned softly* Getting away from *He got a little sheepish, looking down at the sidewalk as they walked* all the vamps trying to turn me into kibble *He smirked at his own joke but didn't look up at Jac who still held a bit of a grudge for what had happened last moon. If they wouldn't have been running away maybe they would have had time to sort through the issue but as it stood they just hadn't talked about it. Jac had taken the entire three days after the full moon to finish healing from the wounds Marx had put on her* It makes a wolf hungry *He gave them a boyish smile but it was a little sad around the edges* Speaking of, am I going to be alright around the Mistress and how come no other wolf seems to fall at the orders of any vampyre like I do?
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Jac nodded slowly, honestly sympathizing with the wolf* If I think of anything to help, I'll let you know. *She offered softly but she didn't know if she could help as long as her and Marx were laying low* You can't keep collecting werewolves, we get expensive. *When they brought up food she looked back at Marx. At his little speech wild magick started gather around her and standing right next to her Daxton probably felt it affect him too, sending up a bolt up his spine. She sighed, scratching at her hair as she tried to let the energy go* You are cursed Marx and the line of...the person who bit you...*She said carefully and the woman's teeth elongated some as she thought about whoever it was* Its the pack's curse, according to legends we made a pact with the vampyres to create their servants so they might be safe during the day in exchange for power. As you know...that didn't keep the war or hatred that was between the vamps and our clan in particular from happening *She tried to reign it again and draw the magick back as she became aware that it was expanding from her. Daxton may have felt himself being drawn closer to her too. Marx certainly did as he stepped forward a little closer* Lets go to the deli, we can get extra to take with us.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
I did let the fair mistress know of the situation and she will not order you about and you can act as you do around Jac and I. no formalities. She finds them annoying. *Tinzen just stuck to them as that is the way he is.* On to this deli then! It has been too long since I had a good New York sandwich. * He felt Jac's magick and shuttered with an ugh noise.* Down killer. Low profile begins with conceal don't feel! *The demon may have suffered Frozen a time or two.*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Daxton felt the magick pull at him but he did his best to not give in. He would have to make sure he did not get caught up in it. He had seen within his own clan the way the born wolves treated the cursed. It was another reason Deston had broken of from their father. Cursed were or what ones stayed in the clan were nothing more than slaves and that was by their own kind with out pyre interference. Which could have been why his father wanted rid of the cursed, because they were a lability to the pack. Ripley himself clung to a delusion that Pack leader accept him.* It's not right. No one should have that kind of power over another. *Daxton said softly before moving on to the Deli.* This way, I promise the food is amazing.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*The shop that Daxton would lead them too was on of the best in Little Italy. It was a well kept and polished store front with Rizitelli's written in scrawl work on the store sign. It was not too busy as they walked in. The smells go fresh bread and meats were heavenly in the air. An inviting warmth radiated from the hear of the shop. A motherly woman who's hair had not been updated since the 80s and her bright colorful shirt showed she dressed with style behind the well worn apron. At the ring of the door bell she called out a greeting to them* Hello! Welcome to Rizitelli's!
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Marx's eyes were amber as Jac drew in the wolf magic. He made a little stuttery step toward her before she caught the magick. He let out a breath, blowing out the need to change* Jac you can't do what, if I go furry here things will get bad. *He warned her, he glanced at Tenzin worry on his face. Now that he was thinking about it Jac had been doing that a lot, loosing a little control of her magick, he had thought it was because of their fight but now he was wondering. He smiled some as he was informed that the vampyre was aware of the situation* That's good to hear and I appreciate the understanding *He chuckled softly before the stepped into the Deli, carefully tucking the little one's head under his chin. The poor wolf's mouth started watering as he took in the delicious smells* Welcome to heaven you mean *He mumbled as the lady talked, he looked at Tenzin* I want one of everything
Re: Werewolves in Washington
Sorry, sorry. *Jac held her hands up in surrender* I didn't mean to, just got a little worked up. *She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to calm herself down some* It must be the stress of being next to such good looking men *She teased, bumping Daxton and Tenzin before opening the door for them. She took in a deep breath too* Seconded, one of everything please. *The could almost see her wolf peeking out as she took a deep smell of the food. She was almost puppy like then, so cute*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
Oh Daxton! *She cried when she saw the young man come in. Rounding the counter she pulled him into a crushing hug and kissed both his cheeks.* I see you have friends and they have come to eat! *She pulled Daxton with her and waved them to a large empty corner booth.* You all sit and I will bring out food. *Her eyes fell on Whinry who was waking up and rubbing her eyes.* ohhhhh beautiful bambina! *Her eyes then moved to Marx and clicked her tongue.* Too skinny, we will fixe that. *She touched his cheek lightly before smiling and disappearing to the kitchen calling for Tanner.*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Daxton chuckled.* if you think I am good looking you should meet my cousin, he makes the females swoon. *He had held the door open for them and followed them in. He gave Giselle the biggest smile as she scooped him into a big hug. He had come in a few times since Keely had told him to stop in for good food and she was not wrong. He had even brought Lyall who he and Giselle had had way too much fun bantering. Lyall going so far as to speak italian to win her over.* Yes, Ms Giselle and they are hungry. We'll have 2 of the specials and the Tour of Italy to start. *He had everyone sit before he did and slid into the booth next to Jac.*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
Oh Cousin? Dripping good looks is a family trait? I'd love to see that family tree. *Tinzen watched the flurry of the Italian woman and enjoyed the sight.* Now there is a woman who knows what you want before you do.*He looked around the shop and took in each of the small hints about and gave an approving nod.* Very nice. just enough in plane sight but just discreet enough. I do have a fondness for the human art of trickery. *Tinzen said as he moved into the booth next to Marx and held his hands out to Whinry, who snuggled into Marx with a onry smile.*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Marx grinned at the woman who appeared, the energy she gave off making him comfortable even in a space with mainly humans. When she waved them to sit down he followed the instruction like a good puppy then grinned as she noticed Whinry* Isn't she? *He said softly then smiled as she pet his cheek, she smelled like good feelings and well made food. The woman could have asked for the world and gotten it from Marx as he watched after her with a sigh* That is an angel, I'm sure of it. *As Whinry woke up he started signing what he was saying so she could join the conversation*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
Must be a family trait*Jac smiled at the woman, sitting down when and where they were told to she grinned as Daxton sat down beside her. The younger wolf could probably smell how good the she wolf smiled now that he was right next to her. She giggled at Marx as he fell in love with the mother figure then looked around at whatever Tinzen was, trying to see it through his eyes* What is subtle?
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Daxton could smell Jac's scent and was doing his very best for his wolf to not get any more interested than he was. Jac could no doubt catch a deep whiff of Daxton's own scent that smell of sandalwood and old book store with a touch of wolf just below the surface.* Giselle truly is and you will not go away hungry. *The wolf gave Tinzen the same questioning look as he commented on the decor.*
*Whinry signed back to Marx that she was hungry and could eat an elephant with a giggle.*
*Whinry signed back to Marx that she was hungry and could eat an elephant with a giggle.*
Re: Werewolves in Washington
The nerve....*Tinzen signed to Whinry as she snuggled Marx. Looking from Jac to Daxton.* We have old magick woven in and out of the walls, most likely traditions passed down from her Italian heritage, but this place is a front for the mob. *Tinzen said it so happily he was almost gitty.* I like Ms. Giselle all the more now. And by your reaction, *He pointed to Daxton, who indeed looked a bit caught off by that.* I'm not wrong.
Re: Werewolves in Washington
The whole elephant? *Marx said and signed dramatically. He chuckled, before beginning to sign* I could eat two and then a Whinry *He began to teasingly "chew" on the little girls fingers before glancing up and around the place* Who cares as long as she feeds us. Woman is an angel, you can't change my mind
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*It felt like Jac's presence was eating at Daxton's control but it didn't seem to be on purpose as she looked around in full puppy mode. She took in a deep breath, closing her eyes and drawing in the smells as deeply as she could. When she opened them they were beautiful amber again, bringing just a touch of that wyld magick out to play for a moment. She smiled and looked at Tenzin* Gun oil, metal, and some old blood. I don't know much about the mob but that sounds right *She whispered softly so only their table could hear. Even her voice seemed to tickle Daxton as he listened* I can smell secrets too
Re: Werewolves in Washington
*Whinry giggled and tried to pull her fingers away/* //No eat me! Jac say I too sweet to eat!// *She looked at daddy Tinzen and then around the room. She did not find this place scarey and the lady was really nice, she had a glow to her that whinry liked.*
