[Tak]

Jodin Connell
*Night had been hard on all involved. After the kids had left he had convinced Juju that she needed sleep and they needing things from the gym. It had taken work but finally, she had left. Tak didn't sleep, he didn't eat, and he didn't get comfortable. He searched endlessly on his phone for New York laws on taking in godchildren and asked numerous questions about Binx's condition. He was eventually permitted entrance with Stella and he had taken it. He had even managed to let her sleep by him for a bit but then had taken her back after she started to thrash. Now he sat calmly, holding the baby on his shoulder and reading up on yet another lawyer to call if something obstructed his ability to take them*

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*The overnight nurse had eventually taken pity on Tak, more just to stop his constant asking. She had brought him pillows and a blanket before she left a note for the next nurse to not worry about them. Sometime just before dawn, the nurse had come in to remove the ventilator, as Binx's lungs were doing fine on their own. However, they did put a nasal cannula because his O2 levels were not where they needed to be. The nurse had informed Tak that it was possible that Clayton may wake, but to let them know the minute he did. A couple hours later the world start to come back to Binx and a dull pain was everywhere in his body and his chest felt like he had an elephant sitting on it. Binx's head was foggy as he opened his eyes and squinted against the brightness. Even though the light was dim it still brightened the hospital room. Not knowing what it was and feeling something against his face he sluggishly and instinctively reached up and pulled it away. Ending up pulling the nasal cannula out of his nose.* Stella...*He murmured as he closed his eyes as the room began to spin. Binx didn't really remember where he was or how he had even got there but he did know one thing, his sister wasn't with him.*

Jodin Connell
*Tak looked up the moment Binx moved* Hey, don't do that *He warned, quickly adjusting Stella and moving to put the nose piece back in place* I've got her. *He shifted the little girl in his arms as if to say 'see'* You're in the hospital. They had to do surgery *He pressed the call nurse button before really looking at Binx* It's great to see you awake *The boy could see the worry etched into his features, the relief too*

Klayton 'Binx' Binnett
*It wasn't long after Binx had removed the nose piece that he had trouble breathing. His breaths were short and somewhat labored as he looked for his sister in the room. He knew it hurt to breath deeper or sit up hardly without sharp pains hitting his back and chest, but he didn't worry about it because he had to find Stella. Binx's eyes opened a bit wider as Tak was suddenly there, putting the nose piece back into place. When he was showed Stella, Tak could see the boy visibly relax. He closed his eyes and his breathing was somewhat labored still.* Hospital? *Binx opened his eyes again, as It slowly came back to him, his father's rage, the beating, and the church. He looked up at Tak and started to say something but the door opened just then.*

Nurse_Tina
*Nurse Tina opened up the door, a warm smile appeared as she saw that Klayton was awake.* Looks like someone is awake. *She moved to bed before giving Tak a nod. She began to check Klayton's vitals.*

Jodin_Connell
*Tak gave him a wane smile* Yeah, hospital. *He could see the need to speak on Binx's face but he gently shook his head* We can talk in a minute. *As the nurse made her appearance he smiled and then took a step back, pulling out his phone and sending a mass message to everyone that they didn't need to rush but he had woken up*

T3
*T3 shifted in his sleep, hearing his phone chime with Tak's message. The teen's bare skin gently pushed against his partners as he moved closer to the warm before quieting down once more. It wasn't until both their phones, T3 and Zane's, sounded with Inline's reply that he grumbled and began to blindly reach for the offending noisemaker*

Nurse_Tina
*Tina gave Tak a polite smile as she turned towards the bed to face Binx.* Everything looks good for now. How is your pain?

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*Binx looked to the door as the nurse came in and he watched her as she typed on the computer. When she asked about his pain he knew that it was getting stronger, but his thoughts were pulling him in a dozen other places to care about it. He needed to talk to Tak, he needed to tell him to get Stella out of the hospital. His dad was sure to show then they would just give her to him and Binx wouldn't be able to protect her.* I'm fine. How long do I have to stay in here? Can I go home today? * He looked from the nurse to Tak, his eyes almost pleading as he looked at him. Binx did not want to be here any longer than he had too. The normally laid back and calm, mature Klayton was now replaced with the nervous and young kid he truly was.*

Zane_Walker
*Zane shifted in his half asleep, half awake state to wrap his arm around the boy and pulled him against his equally naked chest. He let out his own groan as he heard his phone go off and pulled his pillow over his head, while t3 reached for the phone.*

Jodin_Connell
Klayton. *Tak warned quietly, all the kids had heard that tone at least once. The serious Dad tone that usually came before they did something that could get them hurt. He gave the boy "don't lie" look* We are not going to rush this. If you hurt say so. *The hardness left his eyes* He's not coming for you, or her. You're safe. He can't reach you from inside a jail cell.

T3
*The teen let out a mm as he was moved but continued to look for his phone. Finding one he ran his finger across its face to open it, trying to shut it up. It seemed like a success until Inline's dull voice came through the speaker* Hello? *T3 groaned and brought the phone to his ear* What? *He mumbled, not even awake enough to know who it was* T3? *She asked a touch confused as to why T3 was calling from Zane's phone but then she giggled* Zane there with you? *He let out an agreeing sigh all but falling asleep again. She giggled, not being able to contain her delight* Alright tell him I'm heading to the hospital. You guys should stop by later when you are less exposed *He let out another sound and she giggled again*

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*Binx hung his head as Tak took the dad tone, but then he seemed to tense when he was called out. It was only when Tak said jail cell that he relaxed, which just caused his body to throb with pain. It was coming back with a vengeance now that he was calming down. Letting out a sigh he looked up at Nurse Tina.* It's beginning to hurt...*He said defeated, as he wasn't going to go against Tak. *

Nurse_Tina
*Tina had watched the two and saw that the boy was nervous, the heart monitor had started to tell her too, as his heartbeat had spiked right after she had said it was all fine. She knew that they were still under orders to not let the father anywhere near Klayton. She had been doing paperwork on him since yesterday and talking with an officer about his state when he arrived. Even though she knew all this she did not address what Jodin was saying to him. Tina simply watched Binx and was glad when he calmed and told her the truth.* Alright, I will get you something for it. The doctor will want to check on you sometime soon and we will see if he will want to move you out of the ICU. *She looked at Klayton as she explained.*

Zane_Walker
*Zane was slowly coming awake as T3 mumbled to Inline. He reached over and plucked his phone out of T3's hand.* Watch it Yoai girl, you'll get a nose bleed if you keep thinking of exposed. *He grumbled into the phone, before hitting the end key. Giving the phone a toss, it landed on the foot of the bed. It wasn't hard to tell that Zane was not a morning person. He flopped to his back, covers falling away from his well defined and naked chest. His arm he flung over his eyes as he still tried to go back to sleep, which wasn't going to happen.*

Jodin_Connell
*Tak gave him a thoughtful nod when he outed himself. He listened to the nurse and watched to make sure he kept himself honest. The baby in his arms let out a long sigh and shifted before rubbing at an eye. The child's normal forewarning to waking up*

T3
*The teen opened his eyes some as the phone was plucked out of his hand* Bitch. *He rolled some and snuggled against Zane's side, white hair tickling the seme a little. He normally was a morning person but after the night they had shared he was a touch sore, a touch warm, and very tired. Another message pinged their phones and he let out a little groan* Imma gonna kill them *He mumbled against Zane's skin*

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*Binx nodded as the nurse explained but he really wasn't listening. He muttered a thank you as she gave them one final smile and left the room.* I still don't want to stay here...*Klayton said lowly near pout as he looked up at Tak. He noticed his little sister beginning to wake up and forgot about everything else.* Well look at that, the princess is waking up. *Binx's face turned soft as he spoke and waited for his little sister to notice him.*

Zane_Walker
*Zane smiled as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend again, closing his eyes enjoying the moment.* Nah...don't do that....I don't feel like hiding a body today. *Zane kissed the top of T3's head.* Speaking of killing...how are you? *He asked not moving to look into T3's face, because he knew how the question would embarrass him.*

Keely
*The sound of 'who let the dogs out' filled the air, which cause Keely to let out a groan as she rolled over and flopped against something solid and warm. She instinctively snuggled into the warm body, even throwing her leg over it to claim it as hers. Coming out of sleep would not be easy for the little mobster, as they had only just gotten to bed. Then her phone started to ring with 'Dollhouse' but it fell on deaf ears as she was too content to move. *

Jodin_Connell
Thank you, Tina. *The wolf listened to Klayton gave a subtle shake of his head* I told you, we aren't going to rush this. *Tak replied slowly, making sure the words were heard. As the baby shifted he moved with her, keeping her comfortable even as she started to wake*

Stella
*Stella let out a moan as she started to really wake up. She let out a grumpy sound as she opened an eye. Seeing her brother she pouted and made grabby hands at him Bubby She whined, tears beginning to well up in her eyes. The wolf sighed and brought her over closer but did not allow her access to his bed yet*

T3
Itss Newyork, blame da mob *He mumbled out, still fighting to keep his grip on the escaping dream time. When Zane kissed his head though he smiled some and settled his head on the seme's chest. At the question he swallowed hard, feeling a redness overtake his ears* Kinda sore but nowhere near deceased. *He tried to pick his words carefully so Zane didn't regret what they had done. He reached up to push his hair out of his eyes* Sorry I couldn't...go through with it. *He mumbled, using his hand to hide his eyes a little* It was fuckin' awesome I'm just a little nervous

*Nate's groan echoed Keely's. He let out a huff when she hit him but then wrapped his arms around her and fell back asleep only to growl as her phone went off again. Opening a bloodshot eye he reached to shut it off, not bothering to wake her up to do it*

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*Looking up at Stella, the thoughts and memories of what happened...what could have happened hit him like a train. Her making grabby hands at him broke him. Tears began to fall and he instinctively reached for her, but pain shot through him causing him to let out a hiss of pain. He grabbed his side as the throbbing just got worse and he was trying not to breathe too hard over the pain.* I... wanna hold you, baby girl.... but I don't think.... I can. *He reached up with a hand and stroked her cheek as Tak had brought her closer.* I'm sorry....*Tears just kept coming and all he wanted to do was hold her.*

Zane_Walker
*Zane played with T3's hair as he chose his words carefully. He cocked his head to the side as T3 looked at him and made his confession. He gave him a half smile.* Don't worry about it. It takes time and ya have to get used to it. *He leaned in, moving T3's hands from his face, he kissed T3's lips and whispered.* Besides practicing is half the fun. He smiled slyly. Nerves are normal, as long as you enjoyed what we did do then I'm glad.

Keely
*Keely let out a content sigh, as Nate wrapped his arms around her. She was more asleep than awake so she really didn't know what was going on. She only let out an unhappy groan as Nate moved again. The girl showed no signs of waking or even wanting to wake as she held onto Nate.*

Jodin_Connell
*Tak closed an eye as Binx hissed imagining how it hurt. He kept the little girl an arm’s reach away* Careful, Bubby’s still hurt Stella. *He looked at the boy and felt his heart squeeze some as the wet tracks began to form on Binx’s cheeks. Swallowing he adjusted slowly so he was kneeling on the bed with the little girl on his knee. The boy could still touch her cheek and she could reach his arm but not his side* We understand don’t we Stella? *He guided gently* We want Bubby better as fast as he can right? *He rubbed her arm with his free hand, using the other to keep her off the bed*

Stella
*Stella whimpered at her brother’s pain* Bubby *She whined, putting her hands over his and blinking the tears into life. She shifted with Tak, trying to pull herself into the bed by grabbing the railing with one hand. She let out a dramatic sob* I want Bubby bedder *She said, frown growing more and more*

T3
*T3 let out a very soft sigh, some of the tension relaxing from his face as if Zane’s hands could simply pet it away. When the other shifted the teen relished the feeling of his Zane’s skin against his own. The kiss my have been brisk but when it broke a soft hmm was pulled from the younger boy. Warmth had ignited in T3’s gaze and he gave that strange dweeby and still sexy half grin to Zane* You can have a blast with me, tons of fun *That sly smile enriched the grin, widening it some* Enjoyed might be an understatement. You are amazing

*Nate disabled her phone by gently flinging it across the room. It landed in a pile of forgotten clothes and he let out a sigh of relief before shutting his eyes. Cuddling with Keely he returned to his light snooze*

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*Binx found himself wishing for the painkillers now, but he wanted to hold his little sister more. He could not stop the tears that still fell and his sister's sob only made him get more upset.* Let's dry our tears and rock it out. *Tak would know that saying, not only did Binx say it whenever Stella had a bad fall or was crying, but it was also what his mother would always say to Binx when he would cry. Wiping his tears he forced a smile for Stella.* I will get better as fast as I can, then I can hug you all you want, okay? *He reached up and wiped her tears away too.* When I get out of here, Bubby promises never to be hurt like this again. *He then held up his pinky to her.* Pinky swear!

Zane_Walker
Oh I plan on it, if you haven't noticed I think I'm getting attached to you, almost made it literal too. *Zane teased T3 as his grin got bigger.* Well if I'm amazing, I may just blow your mind later. *He leaned in some and gave T3 a deep kiss before he broke it and said oh so teasingly.* However that is later and now I say we get breakfast and go see how Binx is, or I may no easy you into this.

Keely
*Keely grumbled at Nate moving again, but still did not wake up fully. She was a heavy sleeper that was for sure. Keely happily settled back into his arms as he cuddled her. If the girl had been awake she may have thought twice about being wrapped up in Nate's arms....no she probably would be taking full advantage of it. However, she was currently sleeping through it.*

Jodin Connell
*Tak watched the siblings and glanced up toward the heavens as if asking their mother what he was to do with them. He then smiled some as his gaze dropped back down to them* We won't rush it but the sooner the better. *He held the little girl up so she could wrap her pinky around his*

Stella
Okay *Stella answered, voice watery with the tears still spilling down her cheeks. One hand reached up to wipe at her left eye, trying to stop the tears and "rock out". She let him wipe her face before shaking her head some, as if she could rattle the tears into nonexistence* Get bedder and hug. *She reached out and wrapped her pinky around his* Swear!

T3
I’ll blow whatever you want *T3 mumbled, lips quickly stilling as they were pressed into the kiss. He ran a hand up Zane’s side just as it broke. The teen had actually followed the kiss up some, trying to keep it held longer. When he opened his eyes the warmth had turned into heat. He started to raise up to steal another kiss but stopped when the words finally made it through to his muddled brain. He groaned and fell back onto the bed, covering his eyes with his arm* Breakfast is the last thing on my mind when you kiss me like that! *He took in a slow deep breath, trying to calm* You’re right, evil but right.

Klayton 'Binx'_Binnett
*Binx smiled up at his sister.* That's my baby girl. *He held onto her pinky a moment longer when the door opened and Tina walked in with the meds. Binx let out a sigh of relief when he saw her.*

Nurse_Tina
*Tina walked into the room and gave a little wave to Stella who was now awake. She could tell there were tears and probably going to be a lot more.* I spoke with the doctor and he should be in here soon and hopefully, after that, we can get you to your room. You seem to get quite the growing crowd out there. *The nurse walked over to the iv and slowly injected the painkillers into it. She glanced to Jodin and said.* There are some papers I need you to sign outside, do you think you have a moment to look at them? *Tina took off her gloves and smiled at Stella.* I'm sure this little angel will be fine waiting with her brother, it won't be long. *She looked at Jodin again and hoped he got the message that she didn't want to talk in front of the kids.*

Zane_Walker
Ohhh I do enjoy a good blowing. * Zane said happily. It had been difficult to break that kiss but, Zane knew if the stayed in bed...they would not get out for a while. He chuckled and leaned over T3 as he fell back on the bed.* How about this, You meet me in the shower, then we get breakfast. Sound like a deal? *He ran his hand up T3's side.* But I can understand if you don't. *He pulled away and got out of the bed and headed for the bathroom, half clothed form and all.*

JuJu
*Dropping the duffle bag with a heavy and loud thud, JuJu dropped into the chair in the ICU waiting room. Crossing her arms and propping her feet up on the table, she gave an icy glare to the nurse that had refused to let her by, yet again. After this settled her and Tak were going to fix this technicality. Normally she would glamor the nurse and be on her way, but way too many eyes and people around, especially the 2 cops that were camped out in the hall. They were beat cops and J+uJu wondered if they had anything to do with Binx. Pulling out her phone, JuJu started a text to Tak, when she noticed a man approach the cops. She could see that he was a detective, dressed in street clothes and a leather riding jacket, and he soon said something to the two and they nodded and left. The man soon glanced JuJu's way and started towards her, she stopped her text before she looked up at the cop.* Hello, officer. You look as if you want to ask something. *She said dully.*

Neil_Nelson
*Neil was tired and he was not liking where this 'simple' and 'clean cut' as Lyall had said, was going. Most of all he hates coming back to the hospital, why did it have to be the oldest hospital in New York that they brought this kid too. After he dismissed the cops from their sit-in, Neil caught sight of one Juniper Lee Lumir. She did not look happy and he knew what he had to ask was not going to make her any happier. When he walked towards her and she spoke, Neil gave a nod in greeting.* Ms. Lumir. You can call me Neil, I am a frien-...an acquaintance of Lyall's *He said kinda not sure if he wanted to be known as a friend of Lyall's.* Do you mind if I sit? *When she shook her head no, he took a seat across from her.* I do actually have some things I need to ask you...

Jodin_Connell
*Tak was moving to pull the chair closer so he could sit again when the nurse walked in. He raised a single eyebrow at her odd questions, tired mind taking a moment to register what she was implying. He nodded before cupping Stella’s chin so she would meet his eyes* You going to behave starshine? If you do I’ll get some donuts for us sound good?

Stella
*Stella pouted and kept rubbing at her face until Tina talked to her. She gave the nurse a foul look, showing just how much of an “angel” she was. She watched the needle closely to make sure Binx wasn’t getting any more hurt. It wasn’t until Tak pulled her chin that she looked away or responded. She crossed her arms and let out a hmph* I want Juju and donuts. *This was obviously going to be a fun day*

T3
*T3 shivered at the touch and opened an eye, peeking from under his arm to watch Zane walk away. He let out an ugh* God himself couldn’t refuse that offer. *He pulled himself out of bed to follow the older male

Inline
*Inline escaped her escort vehicle and dashed through the hospital toward the waiting room. She didn’t expect to get in right away but she had to be there when they did start letting people in. There were dark circles under her eyes and she wasn’t in costume again today, instead wearing a long black shirt and skinny jeans.*

Klayton_'Binx'_Binnett
*Binx looked at Tina as she said crowd and he found himself not really wanting to be around people. Binx watched Stella as she got fussy.* Hey now, no grumpy face....*Binx booped Stella's nose as she frowned at Tina. He could feel the drugs starting to kick in. He chuckled as she made her demands.* Now, who could argue with demands like that? *He looked up at Tak and the wolf would see that his eyelids were getting heavy. He then looked back to Stella.* You gonna take care of me, while they are outside?

Nurse_Tina
*Tina was not phased by the little one. She had three of her own and that was a face she was used too. The nurse was glad when Jodin got that she wanted to speak with him. She smiled softly as she heard Stella get sassy. She reminded Tina of her littlest Lilly when she got grumpy. Opening the door, Tina gave them a moment and waited just outside.*

Juniper_Lee_Lumir
*She let out a mildly amused snort at his lack of certainty in having Lyall as a friend. She listened to him in silence as he finally got to the nitty gritty. She let him sit and didn't move.* So Neil, what do you need to ask me?

Neil_Nelson
Where were you last night about 10 pm? *He really hoped that she wouldn't lie to him. He watched her body language, which she had no nervousness or any tells. The fae was as cool as a cucumber. He glanced towards the duffle bag at her feet as he waited for her to answer.*

*Juju cocked an eyebrow as he asked her his questions. She could tell he was trying to read her and knew he was fishing.* Went for a walk...didn't know it was a crime, Officer.

Neil: I said it was Neil. It's a crime when your walk takes you to an active crime scene. *Neil was not going to let her attitude be taken to heart or that she was a very attractive woman. He had to remind himself that her kind worked with illusions and trickery, but damn did she look gorgeous went she gave him a smug grin when she knew she was caught.* What were you doing at the Bennett's house, Ms Juniper? *He looked away from her with sigh before looking back to her and asked the question.*

Jodin Connell
I don't know... *It was then that Binx looked at him and he smiled some, noting how tired he looked* Okay, Okay donuts AND Juju. I think I can manage that as long as you watch over your brother. Can you keep him out of trouble? *He waited patiently for her to agree*

Stella
*Stella pouted and rubbed at her nose after Binx bopped it, not letting him cheer her up right now, still highly suspicious of the nurse. She looked into Tak's eyes as he asked, sticking out her lip some* Yea, okay. *She reached over to her bubby, putting a hand on his bed* Stay right here. And we want Chocolate donuts! *She demanded, including Binx whether he wanted it or not*

Jodin Connell
*Tak chuckled softly and nodded* Right there. *He stood up carefully and resituated her on the chair, which he pulled all but against the bed so the siblings could talk easier and even hold hands if they want* Chocolate donuts and JuJu but you have to keep him safe, and if he falls asleep make sure no one wakes him up. Got it? *He raised an eyebrow and pointed at her when she huffed an okay* Good. *He ruffled her hair before moving to follow the nurse*

Inline
*Inline saw Juju and started to speed up only to slow down as she saw the man that was talking to her* Uh Juju? *She asked as she came close to closing the gap* Everything okay?

*Binx tried not to wince as he chuckled at Stella and her donuts.* I'm in the best hands, Tak. I have a little bulldog here. *Binx smiled at his sister as she patted his hand.* Aye, Aye Captain. *He attempted a small salute to her as he relaxed and felt the meds start to kick in. His eyes began to droop.*

Tina: *Once they were outside Tina took on more of a serious expression. When the door was closed, Tina said.* Mr. Connell, I wanted to let you know, there will be a detective here shortly to take Klayton's statement...*she glanced to the door*...also they brought Mr. Bennett into the ER this morning...

*Juju let out a snort not phased.* Well, Neil...my kids needed somethings. You're fishing for something else, what is it? *Juju heard Inline just then and looked over at her.* All good, babe. *She said hopping to her feet and grabbing her things up.* Just chatting with the nice detective.

*Neil could tell by Juniper's body language that she didn't know about Bennett. When the girl spoke, he knew that it wasn't the time.* I'll have to speak with Jodin first, but I'll let you know. *Neil said before moving away from them and heading off to another part of the hospital.*

Jodin Connell
*Tak smiled some at Binx before he shut the door behind them. He shifted tiredly to look at the Nurse* I was wondering when he would come to do it. I want to be in the room. *When she mentioned Bennett his eyes widened and he straightened, face going hard as his blood screamed for vengeance* He's here? *It was a loaded question and she even she could feel the sudden wild magick that started to run over his skin*

Stella
*Stella pouted as they actually left* He be'er not forget our donuts. *She blinked and looked at her brother* Are you okay? *She scrambled to stand up in the chair so she could put a small hand on his forehead, mimicking what he did for her every time she was sick* I wan you bedder! Wheres ta themametor?

Inline
Detective? *Inline stepped up next to Juju as Neil started to walk down the hall* Wait does that mean they caught Binx's Dad? Please tell me he's in jail and rotting for what he did! *She sniffled, tears forming in her eyes as she pushed back her hair*

Of course. *Tina said just before Jodin's face hardened.If she could feel the magic she didn't show it, her face and tone were calm as she nodded.* Yes, he is in the hospital but he is in the ER. Officers posted by him, but he's also in no shape to do anything to anyone much less Binx. *Tina put her hands into her scrub pockets.* It would appear if he had received a beating that would almost exactly match Klayton's.

*Binx smiled had his little sister as she fussed over him.* I'm fine baby girl. I'll get better, I promise. *He waved his hand to her slightly * Now come on up here, I need my snuggles. Don't worry you won't hurt me. *Binx held his hand out to her to help her up into the bed.*

*JuJu didn't like how the detective dodged her question. Something was up and she wanted to know. In line drew her attention then* He's working Binx's case but he didn't say anything. Tak will probably know though. *JuJu pulled Inline close into a hug.* Don't you worry, he'll get exactly what he deserves, but Binx needs us more than our vengeance right now. So you just focus on him. Tak and I will take care of the rest.

Jodin
*Tak took in a deep breath, unable to stop the urge to find the man who had hurt his son. What he could detect was Juju and just the knowledge that she was close helped keep him from changing right then and there. He blinked at her with an amber gaze, tilting his head to the side* How is that possible? Nobody knows what happened to him yet, except us and you know I didn't leave the hospital. *He didn't sound exactly unhappy that the man was in the ER*

Stella
Nod fine! *Stella sniffled again, trying to keep the tears at bay. Let's go find Tak then. *She bit the inside of her cheek, trying to keep the tears at bay. When she was pulled into the hug she wrapped her arms tight around Juju, squeezing tightly* I hope he does Mama *She swallowed hard, nodding into the fae's shoulder. She pulled back some so she could take a deep breath and compose herself* You're right, he needs us. *She looked up at Juju through her eyelashes* You'll ask if you need help right?

Tina: *The nurse shrugged with a sigh.* I don't know. I don't have all the details though. Detective Neil said he would be by to speak with you. He knows you did not leave the hospital last night. *Tina had made sure to stress that to the officer when he called.* It's strange because Mr. Bennett was brought from lock up. *She was quite puzzled by it, as it seemed to happen while the police had him in custody. Just then another nurse came up and said.* Tina, there is a woman with a teenage girl insisting on seeing Klayton Bennett. Do you know when we can get him moved to a room?

*Binx smiled as she moved on to the bed and he helped her to get settled even as the pain med were about to knock him out.* That's my girl. Your snuggles will make me better in no time. *He turned and kissed her forehead and whispered.* I love you more than anything...*He didn't remember falling asleep then.*

JuJu: *she patted the girl's back.* I know baby girl. *she let her pull back.* You know I will. We got this though. Now, I gotta talk to a nurse about letting us see our boy. *She moved to adjust the bag on her shoulder and pick up the yellow folder that held the papers for Tak.*

*Tak crossed his arms in front of his chest* I'll ask the Detective. Thank you for the information and I'll let you know what he says. *At the other nurse a small smile came over his lips* That's my mate and his girlfriend, positive of it. *He looked at Tina, waiting for her answer* I can move the tiny terror if you need.

Stella: I love you, moon back.*Stella snuggled in as tight as she could. When he started breathing deep she did too, following him back into dreamland*

Inline: You better. Inline followed Juju to talk to the nurse

Nurse Tina: *She nodded at Tak, but Judy cut her off than before she could speak.* I'll go find the Doctor and ask. *Tina glanced through the small window in the door a warm smile spread across her face.* I think it will be okay, no one will bother them for a bit. *The little one is snuggled in nicely.* If you want to go speak with your wife, *She gave him a subtle wink. Neil: *The detective stood speaking with the beat cop that stood by the ER room of Bennett Sr. He just had to listen to the 3rd person who said they saw nothing they found Bennett like this. 2 out of the 3 Neil knew were on the take, but couldn't prove it, we'll not in a sane person's way. The young cop he spoke too now said that he had been sent out for food at the time. Which Neil knew had been to cover up the act. Lyall was so going to owe him til judgment day for this mess. This on top of the were-mess that was about to blow soon.*

*Tak glanced in the window as Tina did and a smile spread across his face. He gave Tina a sideways glance as she spoke. At the wink, the smile grew some. She had just saved him a lot of work and he knew it* Thank you. I'll do that. Can you point me in her direction? *He asked the other nurse and started toward his "wife" when directed*

Nurse Tina: *Judy said oh and accepted Tina's words without a second thought. Tina nodded to Tak.* You're quite welcome. If you will excuse me I'll go get the doctor and let you know soon. *She said before leaving Tak alone with Judy, who said Juju was at the nurse's station just outside the ICU.*

JuJu: *The Fae leaned against the counter waiting for the nurse to see if they could slip past the nurses, but one male nurse, who looked more like a nightclub bouncer had his eye set on making JuJu obey the rules. She stretched with the folder still in hand.*

[Tak]

*Tak appeared around the corner, spotting Juju and Inline as he did. On sight the could see the exhaustion on his face but he gave them both a strained smile before he made a beeline for them, wrapping them both up in a massive hug. He squeezed them both tightly, breathing in their scent and basking in their presence. He pulled back so he could look at the two women, looking each in the eyes in turns as he spoke* He's doing alright, he was awake and talking. The nurse is speaking to the doctor now to see if he can be moved to a regular room. The evil one is with him and demands my wife *He gave Juju a 'got it?' look* and donuts

There he is! *Inline pointed to Tak as he appeared out of the corridor. When he opened his arms to them she all but attacked the offered side, squeezing him as hard as she could* I'm so happy he woke up. *When he pulled back she watched him speak, eyebrows moving toward each other in confusion as he said his wife. She glanced between the two of them and smiled a little* Quick work. *She whispered, teasing*

*Juju turned her head to see Tak about the time he wrapped them in a hug. She did take note of his haggard face and tired eyes. She put her arm around him and stood up on her tip toes and kissed his cheek.* Good to hear! *She said softly. When he stepped back and said the evil one and donuts, She smirked and reached into her duffle and pulled out Stella's favorite chocolate donuts.* Never fear, Husband. The donuts are here.....along with the...wife. *She gave him a wink and added.* ~You're going to have too much fun with the 'wife', aren't you?~

*Tak smiled at Juju's kiss, kissing her cheek in return. He gave Inline a grin, wiggling his eyebrows* Liked her too much, had to put a ring on her. *He chuckled before smiling at Juju*~Maybe a little~ You are amazing. You predicted just what she demanded and yes it was a demand. She's going to be your problem when we head back to the room. *He glanced around at the nurses searching for Tina or Neil* I hear the detective is around too.

I guess so *Inline pulled off her ring before coyly handing it to Juju* Hopefully it fits. *When Tak mentioned the detective she frowned some* He was talking to Juju a few minutes ago. *She glanced around if she could see the suspicious man again* Oh, the others said they would be here in a bit, except Keely...I never got an answer from her.

*JuJu smiled but rolled her eyes at the comment about the ring.* ~suuure. A little meaning a lot.~ *She took the ring from Inline and smiled.* Thank you sweetheart. *The ring slipped on her finger easily.* So techncally Inline put a ring on it. *Juju chuckled at Tak talking about Stella.* I know my baby, especially when she is going to be cranky. *She counted on her fingers.* JuJu and donuts. *Her smile faded a bit and she gave a snort.* Yeah the good detective is around. *She put the yellow folder out to Tak.* Here. *Inline could probably just catch sight of Neil coming down the hall, when JuJu said she would go on duty. He pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to force out the voices that followed after him. He hadn't noticed the group in front of him yet as he drew closer.*

*Hearing detective, Neil looked up and spied Tak and the others. He sped up to join them.* Hey Jodin. *Neil looked a bit tired as he caught up to them. Think we could talk outside a minute? *Too long in a hospital made Neil about half crazy, especially when he was getting a stare down from a granny who stood just behind Inline.*

*Tak grinned when she smacked his ass, wiggling it at her as she started to leave. He chuckled softly before nodding to the detective* Hello Sir. *He raised an eyebrow but then nodded* Inline can ya look out for the others just in case? *The girl huffed but agreed and he bumped her playfully before he followed the detective out of the hospital. He sobered as they moved, going from slight tease to all seriousness* I heard Dad of the year is in the building. *He jumped straight to the point* I never left the hospital. *He said plainly, as he turned to face the other man, hair shifting lazily over his shoulder*

[Neil]

*Neil watched as the girl leave and motioned Jodin to follow him and talk as they walk.* Yeah, They found him in his cell, beaten in the same way as Klayton. *Neil lead Jodin outside of the building, before he stopped and faced the wolf.* I know you didn't...but they are looking at Juniper.

[Tak]

Juniper? *Tak's eyebrows moved closer together as he shifted, taking a more defensive posture without realizing it* My mate had nothing to do with it or he would be ash. No body, no whip marks, just ash *He said bluntly* Why are they under that assumption? Tina said he was in lockup when it happened

[Neil]

*Neil put up his hands as in defense and spoke calmly.* Yes, I understand that Jodin. It's not Juniper, but Im working with humans here. *He put his hands down and sighed.* She was seen leaving the crime seen last night, and the beat cops said when she left she looked down right murderous.So now they are looking at her. *Neil shifted his stance and lowered his vocie when Jodin mentioned that he had been in lock up.* He was which is another reason this is bad for Juniper. Not sure. *Neil shrugged then.* Bennett doesn't seem to have any debts anyone. *The detective counted off on his fingers.* Also there's how he was beat, only I knew what Klayton'so injuries were. I didn't tell anyone at the station and no one here can say anything. *Neil looked as if he was too lost in thought to wonder why Jodin would ask such a question.* There's only one family I can think of but I don't see the connection.

[Tak]

A family *Tak let out a sigh, rubbing his face again* Well sir I will talk to my mate about staying out of the way. *The exhaustion was plain on his face* And promise to try to stem any further trouble. I don't want anything coming between me and the kids. Anything else?

[Neil]

Yeah, but I don't know what the Italians have in all this though. *Neil let out his own sigh.* That would help. She didn't take to kindly when I questioned her about it. The Italians *Tak didn't seem surprised just even more exhausted. He nodded to Neil* I won't lie but I don't have to bring it up and I will keep her away. *He used his leader of the pack voice. Neil's next comment made the wolf pause* He's hopefully being moved now and he was awake earlier so he should be able to give it *He didn't look extremely happy with the idea*

*It was Jodin's tone as he said Italians that made Neil cock an eyebrow.* You deal with them before? *The detective'so tone was a bit amused, as the thought seemed bizarre to him.* That's all I'm asking. *Neil felt bad for asking but he needed it as quick as he could get it, so the boy could remember the details, especially with a head injury.* Alright, I can wait til he's up again. *Tak's phone would buzz then with a message from Juju saying they were moving Binx to a room now.*

Not in any official way, don't worry detective. Neither has Juju. *Tak added rolling his eyes. He nodded as he grabbed his phone* He is being transported now. He might be awake who knows. Would you like to join me? *He nodded at the hospital* Or I can text you when he's awake.

[Neil]

*He nodded accepting Jodin's answer.* I would say if you were, they are one of the smartest family and hardest to get. *Neil looked at the hospital and let out a tired sigh.* Nah I'll come with you, best to get it over as quick as I can.

I can see that *Tak grumbled before raising an eyebrow at the detective* Are you sure? Seems you don't like it much in here *He shrugged before he started inside, thumbing a quick message to what looked like Juju but was actually Keely, letting her know the needed to talk*
