Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Rory glanced at Jiro and actually giggled quietly, the humor helping her break out of the foul mood a little. She saw the character for what it was. When Hiro brushed past them she made a sour face at him*[/i] My dad had shit taste in back up. *She looked at Recka and shrugged* Anything with caffeine is good with me. I'm going to go try and get this over with. *She started to follow Hiro*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Jiro just laughed as the hunter ignorded him. He didn't mind. Wasn't the first person to hate him and want nothing to do with him. It made it all the more fun to fuck with them. He went to the barista and ordered a cappuccino and said to add what ever the girls wanted to his bill.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
You got it! *Recka ordered an brown sugar Carmel latte and a energized soda drink for Rory as Jiro came up and paid for it.* Thanks, Sugar Daddy! *She blew him a kiss as she went to Rory.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Hiro settled at a table in the corner, positioning his back to the corner so no one could end up behind him. He looked up at Rory and waved for her to sit next to him* Would you please draw the picture? It is of a vampyre with blue eyes and blond hair. He has recently attacked a friend of mine and he has a knack for disappearing in the breeze and appearing when we least expect it *He spoke as if he was talking to a very small child*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Rory sat with a plop next to her "Uncle" before beginning to pull out her art supplies, setting a notebook in front of her. She rolled her eyes at him* I don't know why you are telling me this. I don't have any idea how to help you. *At his irritated look she rolled her eyes and then pulled up a pencil* Blue eyes, blond hair, is he white? *She started to put the pencil down to the book and draw a random line. She leaned over the book as she made the first mark and Recka felt the little spark of magick that always moved through Rory when she started a portrait, even if she was doing it with spray paint normally* He is, he's russian *She mumbled, eyes disappearing into the stars that over took her on occasion. A tight little knot of psychic magick developed around her as she began to draw, hopefully not disrupting Recka's spell*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Recka sat next to Rory and listened. Recka liked watching ROry work, the magick had no effect on her as she sat there. Jiro soon joined them staying quiet as he brought over all their Drinks.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Hiroshi spoke softly in japanese, feeding her all the information he had on the vampyre in his native language just as he had in english. He reached down to the bag and set different colors on the table as she worked, offering them up without making any comment on it*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Rory worked with on the piece, reaching out and feeling the colors instead of looking at them to drawn which one she needed. She didn't seem to notice as Hiro talked or set the instruments up on the table for her, expecting them to be there when she needed them. Eventually the drawing was done and she blinked her eyes slowly, stars disappeared. On the paper was the vampyre, blond with blue eyes and almost german features despite that she had called him russian. In each corner there was were symbols, one was of his master, another was street sign, the third was a company logo, and the last was his coat of arms. She blinked and looked at the picture, confusion plain on her face before she offered it over to Hiro*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Recka watched her paint and looked at the picture.* He looks like a Lost boys reject. *Recka said looking over the street name and company logo.*
*Jiro looked at the company name, something about it rang a bell but he would need his assistant to double check that.*
*Jiro looked at the company name, something about it rang a bell but he would need his assistant to double check that.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
//Thank you// *Hiroshi took the picture and looked over it carefully, taking time to pull in every detail* This street is not far from where I am staying. *He almost touched the artwork but Rory made a disapproving sound. He chuckled, voice deep and rich* Thank you Rory-chan. Please write down your number and I will contact you about your lessons. I need to take this to my associate so we can complete a hunt. *He was almost pleasant now that he had his information. He carefully pulled the picture out of the sketchpad*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
Maxim *Rory said as she handed the picture over. When he went to touch it she growled at him* You'll smudge it asshole. *She bit out, protective as always of her artwork. When he said to write down her number she did so, tearing and handing the a piece of paper out of her sketch book* It might be awhile before I have time but there's the number. Next time don't be an asshole
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Recka took a drink of her coffee and damn near moaned with pleasure.* Now that is heaven. *She waved to Hiroshi.* //Have fun finding the vampire. Hope you get a flesh wound. Not die just a flesh wound.//
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Jiro sipped his own drink as he was just a humble observe at this point.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
Maxim *Hiroshi repeated, committing not only the sound of it to memory but the feel of it as well. A name could be a powerful thing. He chuckled deeply, taking the number and putting it in his pocket* I will do my best. Try not to associate anymore with demons. They will be the death of you *He said seriously, ignoring Recka and Jiro for the moment, keeping his eyes locked with Rory. At Recka he finally rolled his eyes* //May you have the same luck with your dragon// *He offered dickishly before standing away from the table* Contact me when you can Rory-chan. //Goodbye// *He started toward the door, heading toward Una's place with the picture which was some of the best information they had yet*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Rory sneered at his back as he left* And can we stop talking in weird languages *She huffed looking at Recka before grabbing her energy drink and taking a long drink too, fingers smudging the cup with the colors that still stuck to her fingers* Sorry you guys got wrapped up in that *She said after another drink. The girl kept looking at the colors on her fingers, wondering why she had drawn what she had* I think i am going to start asking some questions *Both Recka and Jiro knew how much Noriko would like that*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Recka gave him a smile as she flipped him off as he left.* What a nice guy. Can't wait for our next chat. *Recka drank her coffee.* I think you should. Someone has kept a lot of shit from you and it's bullshit.
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
I think you will get more from Noriko-sama than anyone else. *Jiro said know it would still be a fight, but with what was happening then she would have to give Rory something.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
I swear he wasn't such an asshole when I was a kid *Rory chuckled as she watched Recka flip HIro off* He's always been like a smug asshole but before he was actually kind of fuckin' cool *She looked between them. She rubbed Jiro's mark as she raised an eyebrow* Why do I get the feeling that you guys know more than you are sayin' too? What the shit is going on with me? *She waited to see if either one would lie or fess up*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
Me?! I don't know shit. *Recka said honestly.* Him on the other hand, he knows more than he let's on. I think your Nana gave her the whole you tell her I kill you speech though and honorable him gave his word. *Recka nursed the last of her coffee.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Jiro got a look like the cat that ate the canary and was all too interested in his coffee and looking anywhere but Rory.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Rory looked from Recka to Jiro* That true demonboy? Did Nan make you promise not to say anything? *She scrunched her face up some* I mean, if it will help me protect Recka isn't it important I know? *She plucked on those heart strings as she raised an eyebrow*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*Jiro let out a sigh and almost pouted.* //you always rat me out// *his eyes met Rory's.* yes, but not cause it will effect protecting Recka, but cause Noriko-sama is tired of losing loved ones. *The demon looked down at his coffee cup.* it's lonely and hinde sight is 20/20 when your the last of the old line.
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*recka was just glad it wasnt her getting the third degree. She sat listening to the demon.*
Re: Somewhere In The Concrete Jungle
*In Una's lavish and posh home, Torrin sat in front of one of the large picture windows that overlooked the zen garden outside. She sat in the long baggy clothes she had been given to wear as she did not have anything more that a few clothing items. As she sat there her eyes frosted over in a light blue glow, as a vision began to set in. Her mind slipped from her as she became locked in.*
