*Tak stood his ground against the Detective's distaste, not budging or faltering. Those the knew him were probably in shock, having never seen the wolf so serious* Follow us detective. *He gently pulled Keely out into the hall. She felt her phone slide back into her back pocket as he opened the door in front of them* Don't be rude Indie. *He gave her a warning look as he held the door open for Neil*

[Neil]

*Once ouside the room Neil just grumbled for them to follow him. He led them to a small court yard that was closed off and not a soul in site. Neil turned around to face them, his hand covered his mouth and then rested his finger against his lip. He took a minute to calm himself before he spoke.* I don't know where to start with either of you...*He glanced to Keely then to Jodin and back.* You have both some how fucked this, then fixed it and yet turned this into even bigger cluster fuck! *Neil wasn't worried about anyone hearing them, or being scene as this was not a well populated wing, as it was the ritzy part of this hospital.*

[Keely]

*Keely felt the phone return to her pocket as she walked out the door.* Men! Never willing to ask directions! Always make the women do it! *She looked back at Tak and said,* Am I right!? *The girl soon followed not talking as they got to the courtyard and hopped up on the rock fountain in the middle of the courtyard to listen to the cop.*

[TTT]

*T3 let out a long breath* Fuck that was intense *He looked at JuJu and Binx*

[Tak]

*Tak gave her a slanted grin, pushing her shoulder* Sexiest woman you'll ever meet *He grinned, willing to tease her a little before they got outside. As Neil started to loose his shit Tak just raised an eyebrow watching him* Hmmm Indie do you know what he's talking about?

[JuJu]

*Juju just shook her head and laid back down into the cuddle puddle. Tak could handle this shit, she was going back to her nap.* Binx, sleep. *She commanded as she closed her eyes..The boy seemed unphazed by her command and just agreed softly, but gave T3 the smallest shrug he could manage without pain.*

[Neil]

I don't care, at all about alibis or nicknames! All I'm saying is I have a perp who's beaten near death, Your girlfriend the main suspect, caught on film followed by two unknown goons. All ironclad for the DA! *He rattled off the information thinking it was all connected, but the 2 unknown goons may have picked Tak's curiosity.* Now, I have 2 cops saying they did it, but refusing to say why or who ordered it. *He paused to take a breath.* All of this only to find my answer strolling into the victim's hospital room and I can't put a damn bit of this all in a report that makes sense!

[Keely]

Oh sexy, indeed. *She called over her shoulder then. Now as she sat on the wall she said to tak.* Nope, not a clue! *Keely listened to the rant of the detective, she did her best not to smile.* Whew I'm tired for ya. All this tells me is that a rando can bring better and faster justice than your system. Warlock. *She smirked as he finished.*

[Tak]

Goons? *Jodin looked at him seriously before glancing at Keely then back* Juju went to the house alone and left alone. *He didn't like how this was shaping up* She told me so and Juju very rarely out right lies and never about something like this. *He tilted his head* Now the cops are admitting they did it. I wouldn't doubt at all one of them had an abusive father and saw the need to get revenge. This is New York. And Indie here is a kid on the crew, I have her registration at the gym. In fact I have every one of them from the last five years

*Neil had put his hands over his face and slowly drug them downwards when Tak asked his question.* I went to check the video they have of Juniper to see if it was really that useful to the DA. * He shook his head.* No, I don't think even she knew they were there. Ya see Juju go in the house and then there are 2 large men just off camera that don't leave til Juju comes back out then follow her at a distance. The DA thought she'd have them as protection, but these two seem like they mean to hide, something isn't right. Your girl doesnt seem like someone to have someone fight her battles for her. *Neil spoke as he mulled over the thought. Nope Juju was way to scary to need help, he thought. TO Keely's comment he gave her a hard look.* Not everything can be solved with violence, Ice! *If she was going to keep using his unwanted nickname, then two can play that game.*

[Keely]

*Keely tried to remember Tak saying to be nice but the use of her nickname caused and angrer to fill her and she glared at him hard and her knuckles turned white as she fought the urge to deck him.* Some times its an eye for an eye. *She ground out through grited teeth.*

[Tak]

My mate's being followed *Tak's eyes narrowed his own blood starting to boil. He didn't need all this added on top of the rest of his stress* If I could get near the house I could tell you who followed her. I would love to know. *He let the offer hang but then sighed, realizing if JuJu wasn't allowed he wasn't going to be either. The kids were more important than some stalkers* Keely, enough. *He barked in his pack leader voice* Cops with anger issues and stalkers have nothing to do with me getting the kids or the fact that Bennett attacked Klayton and nearly killed him. Shit happens but they aren't always related. That man intended to kill his children, you have that in a report. That is what matters.

[Neil]

If she is being followed, then that is a whole other can of worms that I am soo not getting involve with. *Neil sounded calm and somewhat exhausted after Tak's bark at Keely, who had took his advice and stayed quiet.* All I am saying is no one go near Klayton's house, his father, or my precinct. Just fly under the radar.

[Tak]

*Tak looked Keely seriously before looking at Neil again* We will. We wouldn't want to risk anything like me loosing custody of the kids. Who knows what would happen in the system and god forbid they end back up with the bastard who fathered them *Neil had the distinct feeling that Tak wasn't saying this for his benefit but for that of the young mobster beside him* I'll even hold out on asking questions about who is following my mate. My only request is make sure I get my kids. Sound like a plan? *He held his hand out for Neil to shake*

[Neil]

That's all I want. *Neil said with a sigh, knowing he really wasnt the focus of that talk.* As for your mate, these guys weren't very well kept, looked more like and carried themselves like we-wanders.*He had studdered to cover up his almost slip up by saying weres. Hopefully Tak cause the jist. He nodded.* You will get your kids. I'll even look into who's following Juniper.*

[Keely]

*Keely had been quiet for a while, her lips pursed together as Tak indirectly scolded her.* Dont know who hes talking about. *She muttered oh so pitifully to herself.* DL is my middle name *Keely muttered on. However she would heed Taks warning and be good.* Dude you keep using Juniper, you're gonna summon Mama Juju with a vengence!

[Tak]

*Tak's eyes narrowed at the slip and he took in a deep steadying breath* My father knows several "wanders" perhaps I should call him. *He rubbed at the bridge of his nose before looking at Keely* Okay dl, lets go tell madame Momma she's been cleared. Right? *He glanced at Neil to confirm before he turned to grab the door and open it for them*

[Neil]

Oh no! I don't need Lyall anywhere near this! *Neil said most vehemently.* You can tell him after I have confirmed it or not and I'm off this case! *Neil nidded to Tak question of Juju.* Yes, and you make sure doesnt go near, *He glanced at Keely then back to tak.* anything. *He said stepping through the opened door.*

[Keely]

Hey, Im just saying she's got a crazy sixth sense and I dont need that kinda bad juju. *She said with a grin.* Really Detective, ya gotta calm down. Youll have a heart attack if ya keep up all this stress. *Keely gave him an oh so chipper grin, all the while wondering about that comment.*

[Tak]

*Tak paused in his walk to regard the detective with an irritated gaze* My father is a cad but a good man. Be careful how you speak of him. *Amber eyes almost glowed in the dim hallway. The detective had a way of getting under Tak's skin, even by accident. He continued, parting Keely's shoulder* We will concentrate on keeping Klayton comfortable for the time being. We won't ask questions or do anything upsetting, relax. *He looked into Klayton's room to see if Juju was awake*

[JuJu]

*Neil just rolled his eyes heavenward as Tak got grumpy and just walked out the door. He wasnt touching that one. Keely only nodded and followed the detective out the door too. When Tak peeked inside Juju had opened an eye and leaned up a little.* ~Things okay?~ *She sent him the question still half sleepy from the nap.*

[Tak]

~No but it will be~ *Tak answered back before nodding toward the hallway, a subtle come out here gesture. He glanced at Klayton before smiling a little. He was ready for this to all be over*

[JuJu]

*Juju rubbed her face as she nodded back to his gesture. Slipping out of the bed again. She walked over to Klayton and kissed his forehead.* Sleep. *Klayton gave a small wave to Tak as Juju kissed his forehead.* Yes, boss.*He said as Juju turned away and headed out the door, patting Tak's chest as she passed him*

[Keely]

*Keely smacked Neil on the shoulder.* I'd say it was good to see ya, popo but that'd be a lie. So let's not do this again real soon.*She said with a sweet nod as she passed Mama Juju, blowing her a kiss as she did. Inside she pulled up a chair next to Binx and acted loke her face wasn't a new shade od purple.*

[Neil]

*The detective couldn't help up smile as he rolled his eyes at the girl.* Try to stay out of trouble then. *He stood against the wall as Juju came out.*
