Hearts Remembered
Hearts Remembered
((Pick up post where we left off))
*The night had been long for Georgy. He had told his teacher all that had bothered him about saving his friend. She had offered him rest in the Church and he had taken it, not that he had much choice in the matter. He had been granted a few blissful hours of genuinely human sleep. Just before dawn he had awoken with a seizing gasp that drew breath into lungs that instantly expelled it as his wings slammed back into existence. He disappeared without a word of warning or explanation. It was long after dawn now and he sat on his knees, hands resting on Jenny's couch. He had placed his forehead on top of them as if he were praying, perhaps he was. The angel's wings hung low on his back, white feathers covering a large circle around him. He didn't attempt to wake anyone, instead waiting to be found*
*Peter stretched as he made his way into the living room. When he saw the angel knelt before the couch he came to a dead stop* So you were what woke me up at this unnatural hour. You do realize that an angel coming into a demon-summoner's home can be rather dangerous right? *He walked over and sat on the couch next to where Georgy rested his head, careful not to disturb the teen's wings* Had PJ or I posted wards, you could have been hurt at minimum, at worst, potentially unmade. That aside, is this a casual visit or something more? Should I go wake up PJ?
*Something akin to a smile attempted to make it onto Georgy's face but he couldn't quite manage it. He slowly turned his head, still resting it on his hands* ~I don't want this to sound harsh but I know this house better than you do. I am always welcome. PJ made sure of it when my powers started interrupting daily life~ *The sound of Georgy's voice touched his mind, cool calming and somehow unintrusive despite Peter not being able to block it* ~Frankly I'm more worried about the dog~ *The twitch at the corner of his lip that gave the illusion of a smile disappeared* ~It's not casual and Pj isn't even home. He hasn't been all night~ *Georgy's wings shifted so they were closer to his back, tensing* ~Its you I'm here for anyway~
Me? Why me? *He smiles at the young man that the boy he last saw has become* I'm so far out of the loop I may as well be in the seventh layer.
~We are both needed~ *The angel swallowed hard, a human reaction that seemed very odd when done by the winged creature* ~The time has come to wake Jarik up, among other things. We have to go sooner rather than later though. I don't know how much longer I can spend like this and I'm afraid of turning back before we finish~ *He sat up fully, before holding out his hand* ~Ready?~

*He eyes the angel's hand warily* Depends, where exactly are we going? I mean, I am all for getting Jarik back, but I do have demon taint, and me falling into heaven or something would be a very bad day for me. *He gingerly places his hand in Georgie's* I'm trusting you not to get me killed or unmade or anything champ, don't let me down here alright?
Re: Hearts Remembered
~We are going to Veckah's, chill out~ *The slight turn of the lip appeared again, giving him what could have been a smile but there was a lot straining it* ~Same way we moved the other day just without PJ. Keep your aura in check and I'll keep you safe. I've done this hundreds of times...in my head~ *The angel actually smirked and grabbed Peter's tightly before he could reconsider* Out *Light exploded from his wings and when it vanished they were in the hallway in front of Veckah's door. Georgy let out a painful gasp that heaved his chest and sent his head back and it just kept going as he passed out*
Georgy Brown Linden Lincoln
OH shit! *He quickly catches the teen as he starts to fall. He manages to slow the assent but he and the angel both end up crumpled on the floor. He sighs, nearly inhaling a feather as he does so. Lovely, I'm going to be suffocated by angel feathers, what a way to go. *He chuckles as he reaches out with his foot and 'knocks' on Veckah's door with it, for even as strong as he is, he can't do a dead pickup of an angel in full wing.*
*She opens the door after a few moments and barks a laugh at the sight before her* Well now, this is a fine good morning. Do you need some help there Peter? *Without waiting for an answer, she moves and gently lifts Georgy, mindful of his wings, and carries him into the apartment. Well, come on, I'm not carrying you too. *She calls back to Peter over her shoulder*
Re: Hearts Remembered
*Luckily through the entire exchange the god's light inside him stayed put instead of sizzling either of them. When Veckah started to situate him to put him on the couch he let out a soft moan and began to shiver. The teen's eyes fluttered open this time revealing Georgy's pretty browns instead of the angel's sterile white eyes* Sorry, I'm *He swallowed hard, eyes rolling as if he was going to go back out but managed to keep consciousness* I'm awake. *He shifted to sit down, still using Veckah for support* Sorry uh Thank you. *He pushed his hand into his hair, still shivering* Gimme a sec *He actually prayed that he wouldn't dry heave this time but covered his mouth just in case*

Re: Hearts Remembered
Just *Georgy swallowed hard, pulling his wings up to his shoulders and letting them out just a bit so they covered his arms* I got this *He tried to give himself a pep talk as he wrapped the blanket around himself* Thank you, I appreciate it *He was beginning to calm down but then she mentioned something to drink. All his prayers were for naught as he dry heaved hard, feathers fluffing with the effort. The kid felt and looked like he was about to die because he had absolutely nothing in his stomach to purge, he hadn't taken in anything over the last 24 hours. Groaning he put the hand that wasn't holding up the blanket on his forehead, shaking his head gingerly to her question*

Re: Hearts Remembered
*She nods and makes her way into the kitchen. When Georgy heaves she sighs and shakes her head. She drops a couple of pieces of bread into the toaster and puts on the kettle for tea. After starting the coffee she digs deep into a cabinet and pulls out a mason jar of dried herbs. Once the lid was off the smell quickly assaulted her nose. Zarah's tea was unpleasant, but it was a miracle worker. She assembles everything on a tray to take out to the men in her living room.* By the gods, I'm a domesticate. *She sighs then chuckles to herself*
Re: Hearts Remembered
*The Angel shook his head at Peter, slowly pulling back from the trashcan. He leaned back with his eyes closed, wings slowly depuffing* I haven't had time. Between the runaway, the werewolves, the healing, the hospital, *He let out a special groan for the hospital*oh the hospital, then the church, and being woken up by one of the strongest visions I've had in a month food hasn't exactly been on my priority list. Add on the worry that my best friends are always at trouble's door it's amazing I ever eat anything *The boy's stomach gurgled violently and he swallowed hard* My angel half doesn't get along with human food much anyway. We haven't found a happy medium yet. *He puffed his braids as he pulled his legs up to sit cross-legged on the couch. Shivers still ran through him so he pulled the blanket tighter* As soon as we are done I'm losing the wings for like a week...or until my tutor yells at me. *He cast his eyes skyward as if wondering if his tutor could hear him* He doesn't care much for human weakness
Georgy Brown Linden Lincoln
*She returned to the living room, tray in hand* Yes, well your tutor is a sadistic bastard who should learn to stay the fuck out of mankind's business. *She smiles sweetly at Georgy as she places the tray on the coffee table* Try and eat a piece of toast and you will drink the tea. *She nods at the angel* You won't like it, but you will drink it, and it will help, I promise. *Even though the cup is covered as it steeps the smell of the tea seeps into the air. It is far too sweet, and the rancid undertones don't help it to be any more appetizing. She hands Peter his coffee cup then sits on the edge of the open chair* Alright, why are you two breaking into my home this early in the morning? I assume it is important or you would have waited until later in the day, and our beautiful angel wouldn't be in his current state. *She smiles at Georgy*
He had started to say something when Veckah returned, but once the vampress started talking he just nodded in agreement. Yes, I know it has to do with waking up Jarik, but I'm a bit lacking on the rest of it. He curls his nose at the smell of the tea. Gods, is that Zarah's tea?
I thought that stuff was all gone, at least I had hoped it was.

Re: Hearts Remembered
*Georgy tried his best to hide the amusement that washed over him at Veckah's words but it still sparkled in his eyes* He gets that a lot but honestly he is a good tutor. Azrael may not have a wonderful uh...bedside manner but he does care about humanity as a whole...he just doesn't like people much *He looked at the toast and the tea for a moment, stomach flipping. He gave her a 'please don't make me do this' look but slowly picked up the cup, trying not to breathe too deeply. One sip was enough to gag him but he fought it down before setting the cup back, letting the conversation 'distract' him instead. He gave Veckah a strained smile* Thanks for the compliment. *As he continued the smile faded and his wings began to fall around his shoulders some* We have to wake Jarik up now. A lot of events are about to start and if we don't do it now it might be a long time before we can. *He glanced at the door before looking at Veckah again* You'll understand more when he shows up. *The Angel swallowed hard, wrapping his arms around himself under the blanket* Waking him up won't be easy. He needs a big jolt and a large pull of magick, some creation too. *The boy's eyes fell to the floor* Peter won't be enough. In my vision it was Kori but we don't have time to wait so it's me *He looked back up at them, fear plain in his eyes* He has to feed from both of us

Re: Hearts Remembered
He remains quiet, sipping his coffee, listening to the angel and the vampress. The fact that he would have to feed Jarik was no worry to him, he had done it repeatedly while trapped in the Ether. He would be glad to have his boyfriend back.
Re: Hearts Remembered
*Georgy tried to ignore the fear that was pushing in on his chest. He took in a deep breath, reaching for the inner light to keep himself steady. One moment his eyes were brown and then a blink later they were as white as his feathers with nothing but soul looking back at Veckah* One of Merrick's clan. *Emotions dimmed as more of the Angel's power was pulled into play. His wings that had been keeping him warm folded tightly against his shoulders and he pulled the blanket down, setting it on his lap* They have something very interesting to say *He seemed to keep it vague on purpose* Your role. Will you...I hope you can and will keep him from feasting on our souls and *Even with his emotions dim they could see the slight shake in his hands as he clasped them* unmaking me? I'm not experienced in any form of protection from his class of demon and with me being a hybrid he has the advantage. I might give him a few burns but he could undo my very being *He watched Veckah resistance to the idea* I know you want to let him sleep but I wouldn't be here ready to risk my soul if I thought it wasn't important
Georgy Brown Linden Lincoln
Hm. *She gave a small nod of her head* Which of my mate's nephews is coming, or is it his niece? *She then tilted her head* So it is his deamon we are to wake, not the beastly vampire? That should be easy enough, Jetekerican is amicable, and rarely looses his temper. You should be fine. The beast is much more frightening, and coming from me, that is saying something. *She offered a small smirk as she sat forward, closer to the angel* You can't feed Jetekerican, your tutor couldn't feed Jetekerican. You see, your souls aren't really yours, they belong to your master, and as powerful as my bloodline is, even we can't take him on. It shall be the vampire you awaken with your blood, I would bring the deamon to the surface to save your human side's life. *She smiles again* Was it you that came up with the original plan, or Azzy? *She then batted the question away with her hand, not giving him a chance to answer* Matters not, we will go with the logical choice. We all will be at least a bit safer that way. *She sat back on her chair looking at Peter* He should sup on you after the angel I think, if he were to change as he was touching Georgy in his current state, it would be possible that the whole Upper West Side could come to a sudden and complete demise. *She made an exploding noise and action*
Re: Hearts Remembered
I didn't see or hear his name. *Georgy shrugged some* We are going to wake all of him, the demon is just the part I am most worried about. *He silenced as she went on, not wishing to be disrespectful* ~My soul doesn't belong to heaven. It belongs to this realm~ *He offered quietly to her mind alone* ~I am here for a different purpose, one that may fail. Heaven has too many losses to be worried about this half angel~ *The Angel's lip turned slightly for a moment but the 'smile' didn't last. He dipped his head some, feeling more like Georgy in that small action* Thank you, I trust your expertise. *He actually smiled at the "explosion"* I dislike rushing us to that possible conclusion but I'm not sure how long I can stay like this and or conscious. I won't be much good to anyone if I drop.

Re: Hearts Remembered
Appreciated. *Georgy gave her a smile that might have literally brightened up the room* I doubt heaven could keep you entertained *He spoke out loud this time, probably leaving Peter questioning. He shook his head* He is coming to start an entirely different arc in the story. I would place money on him arriving before we are finished but in my vision he waited...just waited. *He scratched at his shoulders, shrugging some. He glanced at the tea. He swallowed but before he could hesitate anymore he picked up the cup and drained it. He retched but luckily did expel the vile liquid, instead showing the vampress the empty cup before placing it on the table again, turning various shades of disgusted*

*She barked a laugh* Georgy, are you saying being good is boring? *She couldn't help but grimace as he downed the tea. However, after his initial disgust, his stomach did settle and a warmth spread through him. Once his color came fully back, she stood and turned toward the spare bedroom* Should I bring him out here, or should we go to him?
