*The sun was low as the three companions came within sight of the beach house again. Agwe had tried to lift Fallon's spirits by insisting that the go out to eat, followed by a trip to the market where Sobo and Fallon had spent hours trying to convince the young god not to eat the fruit without paying for it, that toilet paper wasn't decoration, and that yes they did have to leave when the overhead disembodied voice said so. A new addition behind the house had appeared, an ugly little dog house with a large chain that disappeared inside it*
*Fallon walked in the beach house, carrying the supplies they had got from town, as Sobo walked in carrying Agwe over his shoulder. He dropped the little god on the couch and went to the kitchen to drop the sacks he carried in his free hand. Fallon let out a sigh and took a minute to breathe. Taking them into town had been a trip for sure. Sobo was bad, but Agwe.....oh how she wanted to pull out her hair. After her moment she set to putting away the supplies.*
*Agwe let out an uff as he was thrown down* I move now? *He asked green eyes big and full of innocence* I will not throw the paper meant for butts or try to eat the strange yellow sponges. *He could still feel the plastic between his teeth and taste the burnt, melty flavor that followed after Sobo "insisted" he come along*
*Sobo looked over to the Agwe with a snort he said.* You are free to do as you please here. *He said as he moved back to the couch.* It is when we are out among the humans that you will behave.
*Fallon brushed a stray hair out of her face as she bent low to put the jug of chocolate milk in the fridge. The girl looked tired, but it could easily be assumed that it was because of the long trip into town. She was wanting to take a nap, as she had not slept well. Fallon had yet to say two words to Simbi since the fight on the beach and she was still too mad to speak to him just yet. She knew that it was petty but her mood didn't let her be the bigger person just yet. Fallon also had not gotten any sleep as her dreams last night had made her restless, but when she woke she did not remember them, she just had the feeling of being afraid. Finishing putting things away, she said.* I'm going to go lay down for a bit...wake me in a couple hours so I can start dinner. *She didn't wait for them to answer as she moved towards the door, to go to the porch bed that she had taken residence in as Agwe had her room.*
*As Fallon turned the corner she became aware of two things. The first was the massive black dog that set just off the porch, next to the ugly dog house. Dark eyes glistened as it watched her move and if she looked for too long she could see the outline of the skull laying under the canine form. The other was the exhausted god who had collapsed on the bed she had been after. He had only just made it to the bed before he had lost consciousness, the evidence being the netting trapped under him. Long dragging welts covered his back and his pants were ripped to shreds. Blood surrounded the welts and dirt was crusted on his hands and smeared on the one cheek she could see. The blue aura that always surrounded him was waving with his breaths as he slept*
*Fallon stopped when she saw Simbi had taken over her bed. Not only did he take over he was getting it dirty. She was not in the mood for this. Letting out an annoyed sigh she walked over dump the boy out of her bed but stopped once again as she saw what kinda shape he was in. The urge to dump him out of the bed faded and she knew she couldn't be that heartless....however that didn't stop her from giving the bed a hard kick. Pain radiated up her foot and into her calf and she choked back a yelp. Turning sharply she began to limp away. Where if she looked she'd see Sobo and possibly Agwe watching from the doorway.*
*Simbi let out the slightest of moans, a sound that only Fallon heard because she was so close. The shadows bubbled in disapproval but didn't move toward the woman. The dog even seemed to grin at her*
*Agwe grinned like a fool from his place to the side and behind Sobo*
*Fallon heard his sigh and was annoyed by his contentment. Looking to Sobo she pointed to Simbi.* can you move him, please?
*Sobo cocked an eyebrow and asked confused.* why and where would I move him?
*Fallon gave him a small glare.* Why?! He's in MY bed and I don't care where! Drop him in the ocean-
Bade: *At that, a sudden wind blew through the porch. Blowing past Fallon and straight for the bed. The next thing that could be see was Simbi sailing through the air and into the ocean. Now standing by the bed, that still swayed from the strong gust of wind, was a tall very welled muscled dark skinned male.*
Sobo: *Fallon gawked at him while Sobo, chuckled.* Bade, you always know how to make an entrance.
Bade: *The new Comer turned to his brother and smirked.* Me? Why I was doing as the beauty commanded. I would not call it making an entrance, per say. *Bade moved to Fallon and took her hand before raising it to his lips.* For one as fair as you, I would cast him into a volcano if you wished.
Bakulu: *As Simbi went sailing a laugh followed him. The black dog had returned to his human form. He sat on the edge of the porch, legs dangling. Chains wrapped around his wrists and dipped back toward the dog house*
*Agwe gasped as Simbi disappeared into the waves* Bade! You cannot do that! *The young god went running toward the ocean* Simbi! *The ocean actually pulled inwards toward the man as he moved, even Fallon could feel the sudden power that came from him. It was obvious then why his power was so sought after, if this was him before it came into maturity it was a wonder what he could do with it later*
*Fallon let out a gasp as Simbi went flying. She looked from the water* I...I didnt..., *to Bade and back,* I didn't actually mean it! *she groaned before pulling her hand away to take off down the hill after Agwe. She felt the power coming off Agwe and could actually see the power as it rolled off Agwe. She ran to get to Simbi, feeling awful and scared that she had caused him to be hurt further.*
*Sobo moved out of the doorway and onto the porch, not concerned about what was happening in the slightest.* It would appear that you have been cast aside by Ms. Fallon. *He looked to his Brother.* I was wondering when you would show up. Papa Legba could no longer keep the gates closed then?
*Agwe reached the waves and touched the surface. Simbi was pulled to the top on his back and sputtered as he was lifted from the depths. He reached out to help him up but Simbi actually hissed at him, eyes slits.*
*Simbi pulled himself out of the water skin actually taking on the look of scales* Why?! Why musst I deal with ssuch disssrespect! *He grabbed Agwe and tossed him backward, sending him flying back toward the house. The dark man left a long skid mark in the sand as he was sent flying. The shadows around him moaning as they grew in strength. The bracelet snapped and he was holding his spear*
*Bakulu laughed as he stood up and moved toward the ocean, each step leaving a dog print behind* Take my power and suffer cousin! Be a petro! Let it show, I split your skin now bleed black! *The skull laughed and to all those around it sounded like a howl*
Hey! Don't take it out on Agwe! *Fallon shouted at Simbi as he threw Agwe away. Her concern was turned to anger and she marched right up to the God who stood in the water and shoved his chest with as much strength as she could muster.* If you're gonna pitch a fit, pitch it at the right person! Stop being such as prideful asshat! * Fallon was not one who normally cussed so it seemed a bit odd for her, but she was mad enough it just came out.*
Sobo:*As Bakulu gloated and jeered from the sideline, a sharp gust hit him hard in the back of his head. Followed by nice zap that ran through his chains.* Hush mutt! No heckling the show. *Sobo grunted as he watched the fight below.*
*Agwe grabbed at the sand, trying to catch himself as he flew. He grunted as he pulled himself up* Fallon! Back away! *The water actually tugged at her legs, trying to pull her away from Simbi but the serpent wasn't about to let go of her so easily. He ran toward the pair meaning to get her away* Simbi! Do not hurt her! We are in her debt!
*Fallon's hands actually dipped into his chest, ripping the tissue like skin that had been healing over the wound. Black muck seeped around her fingers as the loa seethed, fangs actually appearing over his lip as the scales continued to form. Simbi grabbed her arm and pulled her even closer, letting her elbows be sucked into the muck. She was able to feel the beat there deep in in the murk and it was much more excited than he seemed even in his rage* Do you know what I usssed to fair onesss? *He hissed and it tickled against her ear. At Agwe's mention of debt, he hissed looking up* Debt isss why we are here right! *He let out a moan and started to sink, Fallon still stuck inside him*
*Bakulu flew through the air and hit the end of the chain violently before hitting the sand and it was the dog that laid there whimpering*
*Fallon's eyes went a bit wide as her fingers began to sink into his chest. She let out a small cry as he pulled her closer. Gathering herself to stare, straight-faced, into Simbi's eyes, not backing down even though she was scared on the inside. Her voice didn't betray her as she spoke very cooly.* I don't give a damn. So do your worst! *Fallon tried so very hard not to shake. When he let out a moan, she tried to maneuver Simbi's to fall onto her instead of sinking into the water.* We are in the middle of a fight and you start to pass out! *she groaned as he was hard to try to keep up with her small frame.*
Bade: Should we step in? * Bade asked as he crossed his arms and watched with his brother.*
*Sobo only shook his head.* No, the little human is naive, but she has fire enough to deal with the serpent. *Sobo looked over at the mutt with a small grin.*
Do my worsst *Simbi hissed but couldn't stop his shift toward the sea floor. The beat in his chest grew more erratic as she kept sinking into him. She felt something hard hit against the edge of her finger and he gasped* Seo Hwa *The smell of the swamp started coming from his chest *
*Agwe wrapped his hand around her shoulder and began trying to pull her out of Simbi's chest* Simbi! *It sounded like a warning and a wave started to pull Simbi away from them* Let go!
Bakulu: *Sobo had a black mutt on his arm as he came close*
*Fallon felt the beating in her hands and when he gasped her name, her face softened.* Simbi. ..you have to stop...*She felt Agwe trying to pull her away.* I want to have a fight with you, not be a part of you! * The smell that filled the air made her stomach turn but she tried not to let it show on her face.*
Sobo: *Bakulu would feel shockwaves fill the chains and jolt him backward away from Sobo and Bade.*
Simbi: Seo Hwa I don't want to fight. *As she began to separate from him the look in his eye started to craze again and the scales turned a blackish blue giving him the appearance closer to a snake. The smell grew worse and she could feel the change in his heartbeat. It grew slower as she was pulling away*
*Agwe wrapped an arm around Fallon's middle and then raised his free hand. The ocean swelled and began to surround Simbi, forming a strange inside out bubble around the crazy god* My friend stop this! You are a god!
Bakulu: *The dog howled in pain as he was shot backward. He fell to the ground, paws stilling this time*
*Fallon felt her heart go out to Simbi as he spoke. As he started to become enraged, when she was pulled away, something hit her. It was something Bakulu had said that rang in her ears. * Agwe, stop! she moved back towards Simbi. I've got this, Agwe. Let me go. *Fallon moved forward pushing her hands further into Simbi's chest, till she found what she had believed was a heart.* I'm sorry...*In that moment she gripped the pulsing object as hard as she could before pulling it out. Fallon really hoped she wasn't wrong and just ripped out his heart.*
Bade: Don't humans eat popcorn during this kind of thing? *Bade asked as he paid no mind to the mutt.*
*Sobo shrugged as he too didn't pay attention to Bakulu.*
*Simbi hissed again the water began to surround him but it turned into a moan as Fallon reached into his chest. The god's breath disappeared as she grasped his "heart"* Seo Hwa stop! *Real pain laced his words and the shadows began to bubble up from the water. What she pulled out of his chest wasn't a heart but a skull, the skull of an owl. The scales, fangs, and strange color disappeared from the god she had just pulled from. The hole in his chest started to reconstruct itself as he fell into the water that was still gathered around his waist*
*Agwe let out a whine but did as she asked. When she pulled out the skull he pulled her back further before raising his hand up again, capturing the serpent god as he fell into unconsciousness. The water wavered around Simbi and Fallon could feel the warmth of the "prison"* Are you injured? *He began to look her over*
*Fallon slipped and stumbled back having slipped into the water becoming fully drenched. Seeing the skull, she breathed a sigh of relief, so very glad it was not his beating heart. What happened next, happened so quickly it was over in an instant. The skull grew unbearably hot in Fallon's hand and before she could drop it, the skull had become blood red and melted into her hand, disappearing beneath the skin. Fallon let out a scream of pain, gripping her forearm the pain shot up her arm and into her chest where it settling there. She couldn't answer Agwe as it was as if all the air had been forced from her lungs. This pain mixed with her lack of sleep and adrenaline dropping caused the little human to not be able to hold herself up. So she soon became dead weight for Agwe.*
*Agwe jumped as Fallon screamed. He wrapped her up, pulling her against him almost to the point of melding. He held up even as she passed out* Sobo! Bade! I do not know what is wrong! *He held her tightly and tried to make his way back up to the house but realized the bubble was following. He ticked and kept going until the edge of the water* Help! I cannot carry them both
*Sobo was next to Agwe as he called for help, with Bade close on his heels. I will take her. * Sobo said as he lifted Fallon from Agwe. He carried her back towards the shore, as she was lifeless in his arms. She was breathing just slipping into the black. He felt something different about her . something was off about her aura but it was like a blip on a map that felt like nothing. Sobo did not like this, As it felt ominous.* Agwe what did she remove from Simbi? !
*Agwe let Sobo have Fallon and watched after her for a moment or two before turning to break the bubble that kept the world and Simbi separated. He managed to catch the heavy spirit as he fell, grunting with the effort to do so. Slowly he began to work his way back toward the house* A skull, a birds skull. What is it?
*Sobo carried Fallon to the bed on the porch and laid her to rest there. He was not sure what skull meant but he knew Bakulu had placed it there. He knew the state the dog was in he would not answer nor would the mutt give him a straight one.* I am not sure. ..She is breathing normal, we will have to ask her when she wakes. *
*Bade was next to his brother, inspecting Fallon's hand. When he turned it palm up he saw that the skin was puckered and angrily red. Bade would know such a wound would be painful for a human* Better see to this Brother. Whatever it was I think it's best to keep an eye on her
*Agwe reached the porch finally and slowly sat Simbi down against the house and next to the bed. He slumped down between them* I would like to thank you for all the help *The young god's words actually dipped with a level of sarcasm. He pouted as he looked over at Fallon* There is aloe in the house
*Sobo looked to the girl's hand before nodding to his brother and moving into the house.*
*Baden looked at Agwe and grinned* I learned a long time ago not to get involved in a lovers quarrel.
*Sobo can back and set to putting the aloe on Fallon's hand before wrapping it with gauze*
Agwe: *Agwe sighed, rolling his eyes but a small smile still tugged at his lips* They say that they have no interest in the other. *He looked over Simbi, watching the hole finish reconstructing itself. The God in question didn't seem to be breathing but Agwe assumed that was natural when you chest was destroyed. He glanced at the black dog that hadn't moved from his place on the beach and then glanced at Fallon* Strong magicks? Should we leave them out here?
Baden: Well then! I believe I will see to Ms Fallon then since Simbi has no claim to her then. *Baden said oh so happily*
Sobo: *Sobo tied off the bandage before he said* It will be fine as long as they remain in the porch, my protection does not extend to the beach. * Sobo then looked to the dog and his brow furrowed a bit.* a bird skull you say? *Sobo was lost trying to place it*
Agwe: *Agwe just shook his head at Baden* Be careful of t'em. They both have delicate hearts I think. *Simbi would have killed the young god if he could have heard him speak of the other in such a manner. As it was the serpent god laid still and unconscious. Agwe listened to Sobo and shrugged* I will guard them both regardless. *He commented suspiciously, stretching out some as he glanced at the black dog* Yes a bird skull. About the size of my hand
Bade: I will protect Ms Fallon's heart well. *Bade said with a sincere smile* Simbi's heart is no concern of mine and as you said he has not given it to Fallon so I believe he will be fine. *He moved to a nearby chair to sit* What are you thinking Brother?
Sobo: *Sobo shook his head* It is hard to say...he is the skull, so it could just be a skull he picked up along the way, but it being a bird's has me uneasy. *Sobo looked down at Fallon, who seemed to be sleeping peacefully enough* I'm sure they will no doubt sleep for some time. I will see to dinner for us.

Simbi
*Outside the moon was high and bright, pulling at the waves until they crashed violently onto the shore. Somewhere a dog howled and the grinning beast chained in the back answered with his own long lonely sound. Inside the world was quiet, the ocean muted by the walls that kept them safe and the howl dimmed by the protective wards Agwe had been forced to put up. Both the Guide and the God had slept for the several hours since he had attacked. Now, when the others had taken to resting as well, Simbi watched Fallon from the doorway of her room. Agwe had been "persuaded" by the others to vacate so she might rest easier. The Serpent had only been awake a few moments, having just enough time to move through the house with the silence of a snake. Slitted eyes watched the slow rise and fall of her chest, gazing at the proof that he had not killed her. He closed his eyes, physically flinching at the thought that he had tried. He had meant harm not only to her but to Agwe as well. He took a final look before turned away so he could venture to the porch. As he disappeared from the doorway the light smell of water lilies filled Fallon's room. Hundreds of the flowers surrounded her bed, each in full bloom and shining white in the darkness*
Re: Land of the Loa
As Simbi Left the sleeping Fallon and headed back to the porch, he would find a wide awake Sobo looking off into the distance. He looked like a solider who was standing guard, or more like a bouncer at a night club, with his arms crossed over his chest and wearing a black shirt that was pulled all to tight over his very well muscled chest. He heard Simbi approach, but did not look towards him, only asked, Fallon is still asleep, then?
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi shut the door behind him as quietly as he could before leaning against the railing next to Sobo. He didn't seem alarmed or upset or even surprised that the other god was there just nodded in reply to his question* Yes. *Thoughts were left unsaid, so heavy Sobo could feel them hanging in the air. After several long moments of watching the moonlight ride the waves, he cleared his throat* If I ever go after them again end me. *There was no play or joking in his voice just simple resignation* If you can't have Papa Legba do it
Re: Land of the Loa
*Sobo could tell there was something wieghing on the Loa's mind but he waited for him to say what he wished. After his own silence Sobo gave a nod of acknowledgement.* If it is needed, then I shall do as you wish. Sobo did turn his head to look at Simbi then. You will not hurt them as before. I will admit that Bade or I should have stepped in sooner but not because of you. *Sobo looked out over the beach again as if scanning for something.* [/color]
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi swallowed hard against the guilt that was eating at his insides* I feel I can trust you with my death then. Thank you *Something of a compliment coming from any Loa who valued their power.* It might have ended up better if you had intervened, agreed. *He glanced over when the other god paused in his speech*Care to enlighten the rest of us? I was a little busy during the whole ordeal, missed some of the details. *The serpent god hissed out, rolling his eyes*
Re: Land of the Loa
No thanks is needed. *Sobo knew it was troubling for Simbi but he trusted the Loa and gave him more credit than Simbi gave himself. He chuckled then as he had a amusing thought and said* Bade would be more than happy to end you, if it gets him the fare beauty sleeping upstairs. *His mood changed a bit as Simbi spoke again.* You missed the owl skull that Fallon pulled from your chest entering her body. I have my suspicions, but I feel as if the Skull and cross bones was only a messenger.
Re: Land of the Loa
Bade needs to watch himself or I will shove him into a dark hole where no one can hear him. *Simbi threatened in a dull, unamused voice. He pushed his hand through his hair, puffing it some* She belongs to no one but especially not to him. *He looked hard at Sobo when he mentioned an owl skull* Owl? Are you positive? *More concern than he would have cared to reveal laced those words as he turned to look back into the house. Silent shadows began to move through it, searching for anything amiss* Bakulu is stupid, stupid enough I doubt he was helping anyone else with a grand scheme but I hope he wouldn't be stupid to attempt to help the Bitch of the Woods.
Re: Land of the Loa
*Sobo chuckled once more as Simbi threatened his brother. He knew all too well the trouble his brother would try to cause and had caused in the past.* I do not think that, that threat will stop him from trying to make her his though. * As Simbi serached he would find nothing out of the usual, or at least nothing that chose to make itself known.* Agwe said it was a bird skull and the size of his hand. He was not sure as he did not see if for very long, but I do not want to rule out that she is making her own play. *Sobo gave a snort and uncrossed his hands.* He stuipd and stupid enough to think that she would help him in return probably.
Re: Land of the Loa
If she rejects him I owe her more than a favor *The warning was obvious as his eyes turned to slits. When the shadows returned with nothing at all his unease actually spiked instead of calmed. There were four gods residing in the house and one chained outside, the chances of nothing coming back for that type of scan were fairly small. Simbi sighed, leaning back against the rail* He is very dim *Simbi looked up at the stars, thinking it over* She is like a roach, once you have her getting rid of her takes a lot of time and energy. I can look into some possible poisons and toxins to give her something to think about.
Re: Land of the Loa
You all ready owe her more than a favor. *Sobo said with an amused grin.* I will enjoy the show though. My brother has a cockiness that needs to be checked every once and a while.*It was then that what Simbi said, made something click inside Sobo's head.* She does not work in toxins. *Sobo said hastily and moved like lightning into the house and staight for Fallon's room. He did not take care of the flowers as he entered the room, simply moved to Fallon and pulled down the neck of her loose shirt and discovered what he had feared. On Fallon's chest, over her heart, was the mark of Marinette.*
Re: Land of the Loa
That's what I just said. *Simbi raised an eyebrow at the confusion* If she asks for him to be tossed in a hole I will be obligated to do so. I will take very, very little pleasure in it I assure you *The sarcasm was obvious. That whole line of thought fell away as Sobo ran into the house. Simbi followed stopping just short of the other god in Fallon's room. When Sobo grabbed the woman's shirt he had to check the instinct to grab his hand. When the mark was revealed his heart sank* No...
Re: Land of the Loa
*Sobo closed his eyes as he heard Simbi's No. It was almost deafening. He looked on the simple lines and felt his own heart grow heavy. The woman of the wood was vicious when it came to possession and many did not survive. Fallon began to shift in her sleep, so Sobo let go of her shirt as to not wake her. In a low whisper he said.* Hard to get rid of indeed. *Sobo moved back and then out of the room.* Fallon cannot leave the house. Marinette cannot fully mount her as long as she is within the house.
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi took one extra moment to look over her* I'm so sorry Seo Hwa *He whispered, pushing some hair back from her face before following Sobo out. He nodded to the other's suggestion* Agreed. *Shadows fueled not only by his power but by Bakulu's as well surrounded the beach house ensuring she and Agwe would be sealed inside* But we cannot keep her imprisoned forever. We still have to figure out why Agwe brought the two of us here and she is our guide. Besides that *He rubbed his arms* It's not in my nature to keep someone for long *Simbi may have stolen many from the mortal realms once upon a time but he had only failed to return a handful within his normal cycle of a half year, those were either killed by other gods or returned once they requested it*
Re: Land of the Loa
*Fallon shifted slightly in her sleep and let out a little sigh but did not wake. Sobo stood in the hall and pinched the bridge of his nose.* I know, but we must be careful for when she does go out. *Sobo raised an eyebrow at Simbi.* I wasn't talking about keeping her forever. Are you trying to convince me or yourself? *Sobo asked mischievously. He needed something to tease as he didn't want to think about how heavy the situation would be soon.*
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi gave him a look before rolling his eyes* More letting you know. Lightning may be quick to strike but it doesn't often stay long enough to learn anything *He smirked but it fell as he looked back at the door. A thought struck him and he glanced at Sobo* What if another mounts her first? The bi...woman of the woods would never share with another. La Sirene or Erzulie Freda would both be willing if they knew their husband was involved.
Re: Land of the Loa
*Sobo gave Simbi a 'are you serious' look before saying.* Yes, but one can always capture lightning in a bottle. *The god clapped Simbi on the shoulder.* It's not wise to use lightning metaphors with a lightning God, you will lose. *Sobos joking fell away as he thought on it. It could work in theory, but what damage would happen to Fallon in the process.* It could work, but it's tricky. Would Agwe be willing to ask them for help?
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi rolled his eyes at the other* If you say so. *He thought it over then looked up at Sobo, forehead wrinkled and mouth twisted in a sneer* You think he has a choice? We have no offerings suitable for powerful spirits and she has no report with anyone, it isn't like she is a hogun, but we need someone suitable to take on Marionette without hurting Fallon. Agwe's wives are perhaps the only choice *He sighed softly, rubbing the back of his neck* Fallon would also have to be willing to give her body up to a god. I can weave a spell of protection, maybe even something that would flow up the power stream back to the woman of the woods through her mark but my magicks have their limits. *The limits had increased drastically since Agwe had been killed* Perhaps we should consult Papa Legba, he might know of an alternative solution.
Re: Land of the Loa
I know so. *Sobo said with a small grin. He then lost it as they continued to talk about the matter at hand.* No, he doesn't. Fallon doesnt have much of a choice either. Marinette will only tear her apart to get to Agwe. *Sobo thought on asking Papa Legba for help. It would help their case and he was old enough and powerful enough to help, but Papa Legba was probably busy with handling who was wanting to come through the gate.* Let us try the wives first, then if they refuse, we will talk with Papa Legba.
Re: Land of the Loa
*The world around Fallon had been dark and cold. A voice suddenly slipped into her ear, whispering,* ~ Fallon....Fallon...~ *The voice was soft and pulled at her. ~ Come to me Fallon...~ *Soon Fallon found that she could not resist the voice and began to head towards a red light that appeared before her. At the same moment, within Fallon's room she slowly set up. Her eyes were glazed over and then they turned black. Almost like a robot her eyes turned towards the voices in the hall, before her head then turned to the window.* ~Use the window, my lovely....be silent... * Almost soundless Fallon moved from the bed to the window, and slid it open. To those in the hall, they would have just been able to hear the noise of it opening before she began to crawl out of it.*
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi rubbed at his neck, leaning his head back some as he did* If she isn't willing then there is no chance. When have you ever seen Rada possess an unwilling human? *He rolled his head some to look at the other god sarcastically* Agr...*He paused, head tilting some as his shadows bubbled whispers to him. He was at her door the next moment, moving with unnatural speed. Fallon felt his arms around her the moment after, pulling her back against his chest with a hiss. He spoke in a language of light and mist, reciting spells to seal off the room from outside forces including Sobo if he wasn't fast enough*
Re: Land of the Loa
*Sobo had been listening to Simbi and almost missed the sound of the window. He started towards the room but stopped at the door and next he knew he was locked out of the room. As the room was cut off, a loud and ear piercing scream rippled through the air around the house.* Well..that is one way to piss her off.
Re: Land of the Loa
*Fallon had just about set a foot out of the window when the arms in circled her. Her mind was filled with so many images and voices all at once, screaming and tearing at her mind. She could see wolf like monsters tearing at her flesh and violating her body. The pain of it all was just too much for the girl.* ~Fight Him! You must leave he is hurting you!~ *Suddenly the monsters that tortured her, faces cleared and it was that of Sobo, Agwe, Bade, and Simbi. She tried to fight the arms but they wouldn't budge. She could hear their laughter as they abused her further and her own cries died away in her mouth as the tears fell. Then suddenly there was nothing, all of it was gone. Fallon's eyes cleared and returned to their normal hue. She was panting heavily and tears still fell down her face. It took a moment to focus.*
Re: Land of the Loa
*Simbi let her struggle, doing his best to restrain her without hurting her. When the world cleared around her she found herself in her room but it was blue and water dappled, a bubble of air at the bottom of the ocean it seemed. She had her back against his bare chest, head tucked under his chin, with his arms still wrapped tightly around her. He was breathing slow and calm, trying to calm her down with just will power and breathing* It is a trick Seo Hwa. You're okay, I have you. *He whispered over and over again into her hair, rocking her gently side to side like one would a child*
Re: Land of the Loa
*Agwe sat up at the scream, braids flying and sleep dashed by the horrible sound.* Simbi! *He scrambled up off the cot to run toward where Simbi had last been only to find the hanging bed empty. He started to take a step outside but was blocked by the shadows Simbi had left to guard the house. He put a hand against the barrier and looked out at the night*
