*Bakulu howled with delight, transforming as he did. The man stood at the end of his chain, face split into a haunting grin* She won't escape you for long Cousin! Come release me and I will help you draw her back *He turned that savage grin on Agwe* We can share his power. *The skull behind him laughed as he did*

It took a second for Fallon's mind to catch up. She had stopped her struggle for a moment, but when she heard Simbi's voice and felt his arms, Fallon stiffened. Her heart beat was still almost out of control, but as he rocked her she began to calm. She had to repeat to herself that it was just a dream, and they would never do that to her. It wasnt them. All of this she said and then the tears came.* Simbi...*She whispered out. before a sob hit her.* I dont know...what is going on! *She curled into Simbi and let out another cry.*

*Bade had jerked awake at the scream. He let out a groan and rolled over. Didnt the bitch of the wood know when to sleep?! His brother was their then and hovering over him.* Im to assume that Fallon is okay and Marinette is not happy? *He said with his arm thrown over his face as Sobo stood by his place on the floor. Sobo nodded and said. * Yes, Simbi is with her. She attempted to possess Fallon, by luring her outside.

*There was a coolness in the air around Bakalu and a voice whispered to him.* ~Oh I will have the little bitch, but it is not the time.~ The vocie could freeze the very blood in your veins as it was like ice. * ~Let them think they are safe. A present it coming, for now wait.~ *With that the presence was gone and Bakalu was left alone.*

*Simbi turned her slightly, settling her her head against his shoulder so she could cry as much as she wished. He continued to rock her* The situation has gotten worse. *He said quietly, not wanting to upset her but not willing to lie to her either* It is going to get harder, several times harder and there is no longer a way to just let you out of being our Guide. *He took in a deep breath, squeezing her gently* I'm so sorry.

A present? *The skull grinned wildly* As you say, cousin. Remember who gave you aid *The man became beast again, walking up to the porch. The black dog grinned at Agwe from just outside the barrier*

*Fallon couldn't help but to cry a little more. The dream had felt that real that her body physically felt sore. After a time she pulled back and wiped her tears, hissing as she bumped her hurt hand.* Ow...*She whimpered weakly as she looked at it. She didn't look at Simbi as he spoke, a part of her was afraid to. She didn't want to see the look on his face that he had had in her dream. Finally telling herself she was being ridiculous, Fallon looked up as Simbi explained, which only confused her. * I don't understand...the last think I remember is our fight in the ocean and just now the.... nightmare. *She didn't want to say what she had seen.*

She's always as a bold one. *Bade said before letting out a groan. He hoped up off the floor then. He stretched showing off all the muscles of his naked chest. He spied Agwe and called out to him. * What's the mutt doing outside there?

*Sobo said nothing and moved to Agwe's side. His eyes fell on the beast on the porch and he cocked an eyebrow.* He makes it really hard to not want to zap him. *The god muttered as he crossed his arms.*

*Simbi cradled her like a babe. When she complained of pain he picked up her hand gently put the welt to his lips, numbing the pain with a kiss. The god watched her with sad eyes, unable to carry his usual indifference or snarkiness* Bakulu sabotaged my being. I was tainted by an owl skull, a very serious symbol to another god. When you pulled it from my chest the taint changed to you instead, burning into your skin and *He let go of her hand so he could pull back her shirt some, revealing the mark over her heart* Burying into your heart. This is the mark of Marinette, a powerful violent petro who is more than a simple threat. *He paused to let it sink in what had happened to her* Dreams are her playground, night her friend, and death her sport. Speaking to himself *Agwe didn't actually believe that is what he was doing but he didn't voice his opinion. He looked outside, feeling his heart sink some as Sobo walked up beside him* It was an owl skull? *He asked despite already knowing the answer*

*Sobo nodded slowly.* Yes, it was an owl skull. *He put his hands on his hips and stared out at the dog.* He cannot be that stupid, can he? *Sobo asked so confused by if the god outside really understood what he was doing with the woman of the wood.*

*Fallon let him take her hand and let out a small sigh. This god was making it difficult to not like him. She let Simbi talk and she simply listened. Fallon remember the fight, the skull, and the pain. When he reached for her shirt, she stiffened without meaning too. The nightmare was still too real and she had to tell herself that this was the real Simbi. As he showed her the mark, Fallon let out an almost whine.* Oh come on! *she reached up and touched the mark. She felt the raised skin as Simbi said dreams were her playground, Fallon froze.* How do I get her out? *The seriousness in Fallon so face was probably the first time Simbi had seen it that way.

*Agwe smiled but it had no heart* Simbi spins tales of how they used to trick the Skull and Crossbones when he was young If t'e stories are true yes he is t'at stupid *The dog growled at them, sharp ears catching their words* What are we going ta do?

*Simbi noticed the way she stiffened at his touch and quickly pulled is hand away, closing his eyes as he silently scolded himself. At her outburst a tiny smirk appeared* Life with the Loa isn't easy *The question brought on a moment of silence but when he did start speaking it was with soft apologetic tone* The only option Sobo and I have come up wit so far is possession. If you ask for another Loa to take over your being she will be forced out. You will return when he Loa leaves but unless there is an outside force I don't see her returning.

Apparently he is still stupid enough to fall for Marinette's plan. *So bored just shook his head. As Agwe asked his question, Sobo said.* So far all we have is possession. Maybe one of your wives, or even Papa Legba. In the meantime, I am sure Marinette will take ever possible chance to get to Fallon and to you through her. *Sobo didn't sugar coat anything.*

*She had a small smile as she said.* You can say that again. *she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.* Who are we gonna get to do this? *Fallon asked, something about that Las comment didn't sit well with her something was bugging her. She looked down at the mark again.* Can I slap her just once though?

We were thinking one of Agwe's wives. We have something to offer them and neither are likely to hurt or humiliate you. *When she joked about slapping the woman of the wood Simbi grabbed her uninjured wrist, bringing it up toward his face to get her attention* Seo Hwa do not take this malady lightly. *The serpent's eyes looked into her own, the intensity almost frightening* I understand you are joking in defense of how you feel but you must understand Loa, petro or rada, are easily offended. Taking any of us lightly is a mistake and taking Marionette lightly is suicide. *He released her wrist as if he realized what he was doing, eyes falling away from her* We may seem kind but each of us is capable of destruction beyond your imaginings. You are playing in a very different world, it would be wise to keep that in mind

My wives...*Agwe whined, as he leaned against the wall defeated* I have been v'ry scarce wit' t'em. They will not be happy to see me *He warned but it had very little heart to it* Can't we jus' ask Bade to return and possess her?

Well... we could...but you convince Simbi of this. *Sobo said as he moved further into the house.* You do realize what she will do to Fallon if she mounts her fully...*Sobo did not even want to think about it. The lady of the wood, would tear the girl apart from the inside out and enjoy it all and Agwe would know that as well.*

*Fallon listened but the girl looked pale and drained, it had been a very trying time. Her heart had quickened as he took her hand, but she felt it slow as he let go and spoke of being dangerous and reality hit her with his words. She took his hand and gave him a sleepy sad smile.* You all are capable of unimaginable things and I am sure I will not fully grasp it. But I'm not rolling over for a goddess that has too much time on her hands. *She let go of his hand and pulled away from him.* I may just be a human, but I'll go out being me and not some puppet. *Fallon said as he was pulling away and closing off the feelings that were just barely trying to form for this God.*

*Bade walked back into the room with Agwe and Sobo. A smile formed on his lips.* I think that is an excellent idea. I will gladly mount her. *The way he said the comment one was not completely sure they were talking about the same thing.*

*Simbi listened closely, releasing her when she wished him too. A very soft smile appeared on his face as he watched her* Odilia we meet again. *He chuckled softly to himself, brushing his hand through his hair. He closed his eyes* Même maintenant, ton entêtement me suit, ma lune chérie *The words were soft and exasperated. He sighed and stood up straight before regarding her again* As you wish but you have been warned. I will do my best to keep you safe even if you slap the Bitch of the Woods

Odilia? *Fallon said softly as she started to fade, she wasn't able to remain awake. The girl just did not have the strength or energy anymore.* It's not nice to say things I don't understand. *Fallon did try to hang on, even though her body didn't listen and her eyes began to close.* You can't protect me when I dream, Simbi... *Fallon put a hand to her forehead, as the dream Marinette gave her came back.* ...and I don't want to have that dream again...*It had been and felt too real to her. Sleeping was what she wanted most, but dreaded it too much to give in.*

An old...friend. *Simbi said softly, having to pause to decide what the last word would be. It did not sound like the word friend fit whoever this Odilia person was. He chuckled at her comment, shaking his head* Don't worry mon Cheri, I was speaking to her, not to you. *The god saw the exhaustion come over her and waved his hand over her bed* Sleep for now. We are...*He tried to find the words but it seemed to be difficult for him* not here? We are far removed from both planes. I cannot maintain this space in this form forever but a single night is well within my reach. *A cocky grin appeared on his face* I am a god after all.
